I work in Germany and can relate to many reasons you mentioned, mostly due to language barrier. However, this is a blessing in disguise in case of someone who focuses on the the language has no competition. Still your decision to leave Japan makes more sense but UK is not a good option specially since last decade. Probably, Australia or US would be far better option for such a good profile. In UK, system has been collapsing, salaries are way less and rentals are out of mind. Good luck for you. Best wishes from Germany

I left Japan too & now doing agriculture in Pakistan. I am a Japanese citizen & there is no such history test to get the passport FYI. However basic Japanese language test is a challenge. I agrees that foreigners will remain foreigners forever ( Gaijin ) . It’s because of the island who never shares friendly borders but imposing war on neighbouring countries referring Japanese war history. The country is like heaven to touch on the cost of NOT yours own ( Gaijin ) . It’s the finest country to live no doubt. But overall acceptance by the Japanese community & the government is Cold . The point is it’s up to people which ever , what ever & where ever they choose to live . Stay blessed & be happy. Only comments no debates 🙏

Jesay apney bataya waha permanently rehna non Japanese ke liye bohot muskil hota hain lekin ap phir waha ka environment experience krsaktey hou during your studies 4-5 years jesay apney kiya Lekin permanently rehnay ke liye kahi or settle hona zaida easy hoga. Agar phir bad mein Japan ki yaad bhi ati hain tou ap 1-2 months ke liye waha wapis rehnay bhi jasaktey hain.

I too feel that it's a wonderful country to "visit", but not at all pleasing for permanent stay. There is loneliness in the air. You see tired faces every evening. They work so hard that one can feel tired even seeing them 😊 And yes, they are good people but they won't trust you easily. And they do not ignore and forget others' mistakes. Somehow you never feel the joy of life fully when you are in Japan.

It’s a misconception that you have to give up your nationality, if you get naturalised. Well it is kinda true but it is a grey zone. They do not force you to give up your old citizenship, as long as you tell them that you will keep on trying (Ganbatte) they never question it. I know tons of people who have got naturalised and never withdrew their old citizenship. Also, the naturalisation test is easy, my Japanese isn’t that good and still I was able to pass it with some preparation. And there was no questions about Japanese history lol 😂.

AoA i did my MS from NUST with 3.10 CGPA i am recommended by University for phd , i contacted a professor 4 months ago and he told me to apply through uni track and i follow the process , at the end i applied through their portal and also submitted the documents through courier now they selected me for mext through university track my question is this my cgpa is very low although i am selected by the university whaat are my chances for MEXT now ? if my cgpa fulfil the mext criteria ? as university selected my after the screening process
If the university has selected you then the chances are very high. Because university only selects you when you meet the criteria. So hope for the best.

Ap ny itna time spend kia PR lay letay ap tab move hojatay. As you said 4 year ap nay stay kia or 1 sal men PR mil jana tha. Baki apki sab batay theek hain. Ye b bata den apko PR k liye b language exam required tha ya just for Passport. 😊😊
After PR you become a permanent resident and to maintain the status I had to have a legal address in Japan. If I don’t maintain that after some time they revoke the PR. That’s why there was not a big benefit to get PR in my case as I wanted to move out. PR k liye koi zyada requirements nahi hoti, you can submit application through lawyers, but Passport k liye you have to pass an interview which is in Japanese.
Understand. Aisa bohut se countries men hota hai Europe ki b k apko after PR Atleast 6 months stay karna hota hai us country men. I am Eu Resident or schengen ki bohut se countries men b ab PR k ley language exam hota hai after 2019 ye law pass hwa hai. Passport phir us k bad ki bat hai. Until agar apki spouse local ho tu PR without language mil jati hai lekin Passport k liye phir b language exam ya phir president ko request karni parhti hai ( local spouse) . Mai b is month Japan or Korea visit pr ja raha hon . Ap nay bohut acha kia English country chose ki. UK ka environment apko bohut suit karay ga after living in Japan . 😊
