Back when I was a teenager in Nas-Vegas, we would go to the midnight movies... and this was one of the movies we would watch once a year. Along with The Attack of the Killer Tomatoes.
@@SinisterSouthernbelleReactions Yes, Killer 🍅! Attack had 3 sequels: Return of the Killer Tomatoes, Killer Tomatoes Strike Back, and Killer Tomatoes Eat France. There was also an animated series in 1991, which had an accompanying toyline.
I was 17 when this came out and I love it, bad movie or not. I especially love the music and have the song on my Amazon downloads to listen whenever I want. I never tire of this movie. Cool Friday the 13th shirt.
This is one of my top 10 favorite horror movies ever. Just a great example of taking a ridiculous premise and just running with it and having fun with it.
Also, I miss the trend of horror movies having theme songs. So many of them in the 80's had great ones: Killer Klowns From Outer Space, Fright Night, Pet Semetary, A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives, and Ghostbusters, amongst many others.
A classic of horror comedy! Killer Klowns has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid, along with Return of the Killer Tomatoes (which you should also seek out 😉) Great costumes by the Chiodo bros, a banging theme song by the Dickies, and hilarious overacting by everyone involved. Another 80s horror with a great theme song - Phantom of the Mall (filmed in the Galleria, which is also used in Chopping Mall and Night of the Comet)
I've some interesting behind the scenes stories with this movie. So the car that's covered in cotton candy. That was a rental car. The cotton candy by the way is a type of fiberglass spray. they asked the person selling it if it would damage the car seating material, they said no...unfortunately they lied and the car was badly damage and the creators of this film said they spent more money on repairing the car then they did renting it. Second interesting story: The old man who has the dog. I don't know if it's just his career for all his characters to end up electricuted, But Ive seen him in many films and each time he gets electricuted. He was electricuted in a film called " Something wicked this way comes" He was electricuted in a sequel film called " Ghoulies 2" he was electricuted in this movie, and there was another movie I saw him that I can't remember the name of but he was eletricuted in that movie as well. One last fun fact: The scene where the clowns are walking past the sign into the fog leading toward the town. The scene was to show the clowns walking into the fog and vanishing. However, filming began before the actors could fully get into costume so that erries scene as good as it was had to be cut because Non of the clowns had their shoes on. Also, I strongly recommend looking into the merch of this movie. I just purchased myself one of those popcorn clown jack in the box figurines. their spooky cute and they give you a choice of hair color. However their hair arrives silky straight so I reccomend teasing the hair and going at it with a hair spray to get rid of the shine and to give it a nice messy look. I did the same with mine and it literally looks exactly like the clowns in the bathroom scene.
I know I'm not a patreon or anything I scavenge for food like most of the plebs; but please consider Zombi by Lucio Fulci or I Drink Your Blood. Great video, happy early halloween
There were festivals in the 80s for "B" movies. They were hugely popular and extremely bad. 😂 You should have the niece on more. She makes a great foil for you, and I'm sure she would love to see some of the movies that made you and your sister what you are today.
It your niece is still curious about why the clown. In the front of the fun house is missing its front teeth you can tell her. That it originally had all its teeth but on the first take of them filming the killer Clowns. Going in the fun house the tall Klown nocked the teeth off. So they just left them off because they would just get in the way. The writers an directors an creators of the killer Klowns. Loved B horror movies so they made this movie in that style. So that's why it was not that scary they wanted to make a goofy silly horror movie.
This movie may be so bad it’s good, but Dave is a genuinely great character.
I have always loved this movie. Sometimes the low budget, "bad" movies have been some favorites of mine.

You came with the fire tonight, didn’t you? Thank you for all the cool information!
LOL, thumbed up for the "they do say the bigger the better" comment alone, it was hilarious but innocent at the same time.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love the reaction, the guy with beer at the beginnig is comedian Christopher Titus in his first movie role
No way! He was such a baby!
I have a guilty love of this movie ever since I reacted to it a couple of years back. And I still wanna know, WHO'S JOE LOMBARDO?? 😁
she would rather go hunting meteors than fool around with him
This relationship is going nowhere 😂 poor guy.
The blonde nerd you guys made fun of in the beginning was Comedian Christopher Titus
Someone just said that. He was such a baby.

She tried to stay longer 😂 she lives two hours away. I definitely will try to get her for more in the summer.
Made my week.
We ❤️ you Kyle!
Nice F13 shirt Layla!
She’s a cool cat (she borrowed it from me 😉) - I’m the cool aunt.
please do Return of the living dead before halloween is up.
I’ll look for it. Love a zombie movie!
So bad, but so good.
It is, right? But I’m not going near cotton candy for a hot second.

Thank you for the info 💖💖
👍. ❤
ernest scared stupid used the klown masks (chiodo brothers) for the trolls. killer klowns came out before ernest scared stupid.
Yes, thank you I read about that. I thought that was pretty cool to Kind of recycle.
thank you ladies for making a PAINFULLY BAD, SILLY MOVIE fun with your comments 🤣 you two were THE BEST PART of this movie! 👍☺
Awww thank you. She’s been begging to be in one of the reactions. I told her she had to turn 13 first.
You’re insane. This movie rocks.
