My thanks to everyone! The 10K milestone was reached much more quickly than I ever anticipated. The giveaway winner will be announced on Sunday, March 24th. If you’d like to win, please make sure you subscribe to the channel and leave a comment on this video. The winner will most certainly enjoy this watch. It has been running nonstop for several days now and is running beautifully, averaging just a couple seconds per day.
You remind me of Wristwatch Revival, you have great potential! You know whats funny, never could afford an automatic seiko watch, here they are between 250-400 $, almost a sallary. But i was always fascinated about them, the movement, also, started my own jurney to repair watches. Some dream to have a Rolex, i just want a seiko. :D
Hi Adam, excellent revival on this watch! She's a looker. 👀 I love your attention to detail when it comes to how the pivots ride in the jewels. Your OCD makes the video a fantastic learning experience! 😁
Something pretty amazing about the Pogues. As much as I love seiko doing their reissues, i think this is one of the few models I'm happy to leave in the past.
What a fantastic job youv done on that watch, how do you remember where everything gos ,even the right shape of the screws ,, your attention to detail is second to none,
Watching this from my hospital bed, after I smashed my elbow in a cycling accident. Recently I did 4 6138B’s for a friend of mine. 3 bullheads and a Kakume. I had the service manual, but your video’s were a TREMENDOUS help with the assembly and troubleshooting 🙏❤️ thanks a 1.000.000
Great fix on the slop in the side shake in the barrel and arbor using the 1x4 wood block! love when someone “macguyvers” a procedure! Right up my alley!
I used to own an identical watch, that was lost during a serious motorcycle accident in September 1978 and I spent the next couple of months in hospital where I celebrated my 21st birthday so was captivated by your video.Thanks. Kevin .
I've been watching your videos for some time, however I never noticed I wasn't a subscriber. This is now fixed! Your no-nonsense approach and the quality of your work and filming is very much appreciated, keep it up!
Vintage automatic Seiko chronograph? 40mm?! Yes, please, thank you so much 😅. Great job, and what a lovely piece. We might never see this combination of design elements from Seiko again. A true classic. 😊
My dad had the exact same watch in the 1970s. I would play with it as a kid and got the watch bug for life because of this reference. Sadly it was lost while body surfing in Hilton Head in the early 80s.
I love your tutorial videos, it teminds me of younger years I was around 10 years of tender age and without tools, deprived still and admiring all the tools you got and wished that I had. Anyway it wad very satisfying to watch a watch being restored back to life. That every surgery you did to a watch sets you apart from surgeon who usually have a live patient that ends up dead while you start with a dead watch that goes back to life... cheers ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Impressive how much detail and information you give while you service the watch. And giving this away speaks to your passion for your craft. Keep up the wonderful work. I'll keep following and watching. Thank you for educating us and letting us for your journey. ❤❤❤
Still one of the best chronos Seiko ever made. Wish they still made them like this(although they’d probably make it "limited" edition and cost like $4,000).
Hello, I really was excited to see your work and dedication on this watch. There were tons of interesting things for me to see and learn from videos like this! Keep on the good work! 👍
Many years ago I had one of these watches, but I had a small sailing dinghy and whilst pulling it into the bank of the local river, the strap came loose. The watch is still somewhere at the bottom of the river. Beautiful work on the repair and service of this one, I would never manage to work on something that small, at my age my hands are not even close to steady enough.
Wow what an amazing video I’ve been a hobbist for 25 years now and watching this video made me realize I’m still behind the curve ball and for me you are teaching me new things thank you very much. This was the first video I’ve watched of yours now I’ll have to do look backs 👍
Bravo pour le succès de ta chaîne. Et très intéressant de voir la révision de cette Seiko Pogue. ❤ Congratulations for the success of your channel. And very interesting to see the review and service of this Seiko Pogue. ❤
I prefer the new dial - my slightly ocd nature would keep noticing the spots on the ‘original’ dial! You’ve had quite a journey with this watch to get it running well. Cheers 👍🍻
Such a beautiful watch! Don’t worry about the mismatched dial, almost no one will take it as a problem. Keep up the good work and greetings from Poland :)
I love the time you took to repair the parts and even understood your frustration when you notice the word proof on that dial, it looks the same and is beautiful anyway. Congrats on the 10K subs, cheers from Costa Rica
Hi I have watched quite a few of your videos, what interested me was being a Seiko, I have had one for over 30 years and it still works apart from the strap which eventually fell apart. I sent it to Seiko UK for a replacement strap. They sent it back stating a strap could not be sourced. Unfortunately I now own a pocket watch. Did not realise how complex the watch was until seeing this upload. Well done and great additional info thrown in.
Adam, your enthusiasm for your work shines through. Yo make your repairs seem effortless regardless of the time put in. I thoroughly enjoy watching and listening . I just wish I could complete a repair and service in the same manner. The growth of the channel is not a surprise but a testament to you. Well done.
Congrats on reaching 10k subscribers. Great video and great info on the repairs. I had a Seiko watch back in the 70s. Look forward to seeing more of your videos.
You did an amazing job with this video. I do a lot of Swiss movements, and this was a great and detailed introduction to Seiko's movements. I am a Seiko fan now! 🙂
Beautiful video again Adam. This repair is really a piece of top notch craftmanship where you have to pull off all the tricks of the trade. Fixing jewels to lower endshake, fixing the hairspring on the balance, fixing the barrelhole, fixing the automatic bridge. It's very satisfying watching you bringing this beauty back to life again. Bit of a shame you didn't take this one into a trip into space ;)
Congratulations on the 10k Adam! Very cool and well earned accomplishment. As for the video, great service and explanation. Very enjoyable to watch the that dead-center reset.
I always re-watch all of your videos. Such good work and you always catch minor mistakes. Who ever ends up with this watch will have a finely well tuned and oiled machine. Love this watch, it's absolutely beautiful. To be the winner of this contest and have this gorgeous seiko in your collection would be a wish come true. 🤓 ⌚️
I love watches since I was a little kid. I took apart my grandmother’s alarm clock and put it back together without her knowing. Watching your videos is a pleasure.
I take zero responsibility for the thinning out of your wallet! There's a separate tool for everything, and they are all expensive (to me at least!). Enjoy your watchmaking journey!
Dabbled in wristwatch restoration a bit myself and I have to say, your work is impressive! And you can never go wrong with a Pogue, sadly had to get rid of mine early 2020... Funny how such a bold colorway just works :D
My thanks to everyone! The 10K milestone was reached much more quickly than I ever anticipated.

Nicely done!
Beautiful work you do. They are very relaxing and interesting videos.
I got a watch like this for my 16th birthday back in 1976, wish I still had it. Wonderful job!
Great to watch thanks
Any Seiko repair is a good day. Beautiful watch
Hi Adam, excellent revival on this watch! She's a looker. 👀 I love your attention to detail when it comes to how the pivots ride in the jewels. Your OCD makes the video a fantastic learning experience! 😁
Thanks Mike. I appreciate it!
Congratulations for 10 000 subscribers ! 👍
Great Vidéo and what a beauty !
Nicolas
As a fan of watches and anything space related I’m a big fan of the story behind this watch. Thank you for bringing it back to life!
I understand the craze behind vintage Seiko models, my father used to say Seiko watches are the working mans Rolex, strong and reliable
Just a quick reminder on a parts and tools guide to give us a little head start and some confidence we are getting legit stuff on our own projects.
Stunning watch. Stunning.
Please know that my comment was showing twice on my end, but I only commented once. Congrats to the winner!
Seiko´s "golden edge" on the chrono era. Impeccable job on the restauration too.
I think you greatly improved this watch and whoever wins it will be very happy to wear it for many years to come.
You are the David Attenborough of watches.
Haha!
Something pretty amazing about the Pogues. As much as I love seiko doing their reissues, i think this is one of the few models I'm happy to leave in the past.
Thank you for the memories. This was my first watch as a young boy. I think this was around 1975.
What a fantastic job youv done on that watch, how do you remember where everything gos ,even the right shape of the screws ,, your attention to detail is second to none,
Iam jealous of your cleaning machine, I am not far in to my watch making journey, but these videos make me push to be better each watch.
That's great, thank you.
This watch had a lot going on, but it was fun to watch you look for broken parts and misalignment of pieces in several places . Great Job 🤪🕰️

Thanks a bunch! I'm glad you found them helpful. I hope you have a quick recovery.
Great fix on the slop in the side shake in the barrel and arbor using the 1x4 wood block! love when someone “macguyvers” a procedure! Right up my alley!

Love seeing these classic timepieces getting the care they deserve, thanks for showing them!
Oh man. I have been hunting a 6139-6005 for a while. I love these.
This is probably the most complicated movement that I have seen. Thanks for the video
as the owner of an early "Pogue" I really enjoyed the video, thanks and regards, Geoff from Merimbula Australia
I've been watching your videos for some time, however I never noticed I wasn't a subscriber. This is now fixed!
Your no-nonsense approach and the quality of your work and filming is very much appreciated, keep it up!

Andy
Vintage automatic Seiko chronograph? 40mm?! Yes, please, thank you so much 😅. Great job, and what a lovely piece. We might never see this combination of design elements from Seiko again. A true classic. 😊
Good luck, everybody.
I really like the older Seiko's, and I love your channel 👍

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
What an incredible piece. The new dial really makes it pop. But you still have the touch of the patina on the original bezel. Great job.
Impressive how much detail and information you give while you service the watch. And giving this away speaks to your passion for your craft. Keep up the wonderful work. I'll keep following and watching. Thank you for educating us and letting us for your journey. ❤❤❤
Congrats on your new landmark.
Thanks a bunch.
We love watching your channel. That's a beautiful Pogue watch very elegant. It's amazing how still your hands are while restoring these masterpieces
This watch is so iconic. Thank you for sharing these videos and giving away this grail.
I just added a Sarb to my collection. Seiko continues to really knock it out of the park!
Wonderful work calling for great organizational skills. It is rather miraculous that these machines were created.
Mesmerising. The professional pride involved is fantastic.
I'm just amazed on how many steps that is require to do what you do. You definitely need a lot of patients and a steady hand. I guess OCD helps.😀
Great to see the attention to detail in restoring such an iconic watch. I'm definitely a long way off this level of craftsmanship.
I wish my hands were steady enough to do work like that great job.
Great restoration! Love seeing the inner workings of a chronograph!
Got to love your enthusiasm for the work you do to the watches you freshen up. Keep up the good work! Thank you
Amazing repair. We enjoy this video as a family. Very nice indeed
Still one of the best chronos Seiko ever made. Wish they still made them like this(although they’d probably make it "limited" edition and cost like $4,000).
These Seiko vintage chronograph are beautiful
Seen some repairs I haven't seen before. Especially the crystals on the correct heights.
Loved your video.

Beautiful restoration! One more Pogue saved.
I love these videos, i have no intention of fixing a watch but its quite relaxing watching someone else do it!
Thanks so much for this detailed restoration video, this is a scary complicated movement.
Great video!! I thoroughly enjoyed every second! Including the one second off that drove you crazy! Lol

Fantastic work done for this watch. I’m doing online classes to learn watch classes and got a couple ENICAR watches for service.
I love watches since I was a little kid. I took apart my grandmother’s alarm clock and put it back together without her knowing. Watching your videos is a pleasure.
Thanks for introducing me to a fascinating hobby. Here's to buying all manner of strange tools. Great videos
