Note: There is no joystick tension, the trigger stops are not mechanical, it has 125hz bluetooth, and the grips are semi rubberized. Also flydigi has fixed 99% of the bugs with the Vader 4 Pro and we no longer have beef 😊
They're planning on releasing the ops v3 pro next week, which is essentially the Western version of this controller. I wanted to pick one up for testing, but I'm not a fan of non-removable thumbsticks, especially ones with cheap plastic everywhere. It's a shame, as the back button layout is like a Razer Wolverine controller.
@StardustLegacyFighter it's been out for a couple weeks already (ig its just pre order actually) but it's not the same. There is essentially 3 versions for both the Chinese version and world wide version. There is the battle dragon, battle dragon pro, and battle dragon pro max. The controller in this video is the pro which is equivalent to the ops v2 which hasn't even been announced yet. It has all the features of the ops v3 minus the shoulder buttons and rgb. Every Chinese version looks better tbh cuz it comes with a dragon on the face plate.
The power a Fusion pro 4 came out as well the other day. Essentially the ops3 for xbox console support. Ima try it today before send it in a week or so. The 4 essentially provides the same features. With what I believe are using the same stick module. At $68 US vs $200+ for the razer. The fusion4 having software calibration. So repairing will be easy.
@@n64slayer already tried it. Massive let down. Build quality was bad. Factory calibration was bad. And had to use calibration techniques to even make it usable. My right stick was poorly centered to its shell. So no amout of calibration would bring down the circularity just for argument sake. So I had to compensate on the right side. (Had to calibrate with 40-70% outer deadzone. In order to get head room and ability to change circularity. Since the out deadzone setting is useless by default.) And the lowest circularity range was 12% error, meanwhile I could get the left one down to 6-10%. But Why would I want less range on LS. Had to also calibrate with a 3% deadzone. So that when I lowered or remove it. It would center with more consistency neer 0.004 other then 0.02-0.05. The intended circularity error is a filtered 15.5% with square corners. It also had Emi interference. With both triggers. And it would correct it self with software trickery everytime you would press them. A seconds later. That would be bad while playing.
keep on doing these, i just wish there was more controllers with ps4 sticks layout where it is both on the center, only gamesir does it and i guess fantech, there is also scuf envision but they cost 200$
@@n64slayer I meant two sticks being under d-pad and buttons, like on dualshock 4, by layout i meant that, it didnt come out right. Dang that thing costs 200$ too anyways D:
You could get the Victrix Pro BFG for the PS5, which now has hall effect modules (sold separately). Unfortunately, compared to the Xbox version, it's missing some features and has some durability issues from what I've seen online. Other than that, there aren't any pro controllers for the PS5 that have the PS layout, unless you were to spend a fortune and buy a modded controller, from Scuf or Hex Gaming.
Wait a minute 500hz Bluetooth is actually insane that means I can plug my controller and use key mapping apps wayy way more accurately and also on switch way more accurate
It's really nice, but I'm a little let down by the joysticks. They sit fairly loose like most controllers that use k-silver JH20 hall effect modules. It's kind of a given if you've used or seen controllers with them. And it's definitely a PowerA controller design. The face buttons and dpad are heavy mechanical switches (more than I like), but oddly enough, the bumpers aren't? The triggers are heavier than some, which fits nice with the trigger stops. I absolutely love they joystick height adjustment. The grips are a decent step up from standard stipple grips. The rear buttons are in a nice place, but I wish the bottom ones were a touch lower. It's a different hand feel, I think I'll just have to get used to it. So far, I'd give it an 8/10 😊
Looks nice, although I'm rather dubious when it comes to Power A's reputation, despite them being a fairly well-known controller brand. They've been known to put metal (lead) weights in their controllers to make them feel heavier, and the overall quality isn't that great, at least from what I've seen from online reviews. However, it's good to see them finally adopt hall effect joysticks, and the price is really affordable.
Yeah, I can see that. The faceplate and buttons feel nice but the bumpers feel different (not necessarily bad) The triggers feel a bit cheap, although they feel like they have a harder tension at first which pairs nice with the trigger stops. The d-pad feels odd, It's mechanical, but you dont really get any tactile feel. And the joysticks are very loose, which can affect aim significantly. It's definitely different but not necessarily bad.
i returned it immediately after buying cuz of stick drift out of the box. not calibrated from factory. and u cant swap u can rotate the joystick for hights.
@@n64slayer only software u get from windows store that doesn't work. you have to download from other youtube link or reddit. ive done it all, set deadzone to 91% for test but still having drift. whether or not the halleffect isn't implemented good enough.
@prabhkaranjeet9478 it is they just not know how. If you go to PowerA's website, there should be a flag in the top right to select your region. Press China, and then hit the support button, scroll down, and the download should be at the bottom left.

@Vizr. I would not buy either if they are using the same joysticks because no amount of calibration will save them from the amount of drift they have

how is vibration
and does Triggers have vibration effect
The triggers do not vibrate, and as for the vibration, it's just like a standard controller, but it's a softer vibration giving ot a nicer feel.
