    Can’t get enough of these lectures. There’s a lot of great science resources on RUclips but so many of them just feel like exam prep. These lectures feel so thoughtful and inspired!

    I thought my physiology teacher was great, until I saw this... wow, how useful... thanks for sharing this with the world! watching the whole series and taking notes cuz it's that good

    I feel SO LUCKY to have found this! This lecture was SO CLEAR and well organized. Breath of fresh air!
    (It is a shame I did not come across these 'till the last three weeks of my physiology class.)
    I will visit these lectures for the duration of my education I am sure.

    K is a constant used to equate dissimilar units.
    You have flow at the top, Vco2 in ml/min.
    You have pressure in the bottom, Pco2 in mmHg.
    You want that to equal alveolar ventilation VA which is in L/min.
    K is just a factor to make sure the units cancel appropriately.
