This Thursday will be a defining moment for Tua. Playing in a cold prime time game with a ball hawk corner playing at an all-pro level. Oh yea 20 mph wind gusts and 4 degree wind chill temp. Lets see if Tua can do anything
My problem is with Grier is our offensive line. It's been a problem with not only him but also those before him. We just don't seem to either draft or retain good offensive linemen and it's been that way for over a decade. It's not a line that is built to take on even our own defensive line. There are larger more powerful defensive lines out there. That is where we struggle in December and January. We don't have a line that can allow us to be run heavy when we need to. Sure offensive schemes, misdirection etc can help cover up and over come some of that. But well coached defenses with big, strong and disciplined defensive lines are going to continue to cause issues for us. All those misdirection plays, etc rely on getting the defense out of position and off balance. Well coached defensive lines are not going to fall for that as much. Especially when they know they have a front that is more physical and stronger than ours. That is were I have seen us struggle the most at the end of the year. Sure injuries on our O line was an excuse last year, but it's the GM's job to be sure we have the depth we need to compete with loses. Regarding Tua.. I think he does an amazing job with the offense he is tasked to run. There aren't many that could run it, much less a efficiently as he has. I just want him to continue on the path he is on now and not take high risk decisions when running the ball. Get what you can and get down. He's not physically capable of taking big unexpected hits or driving through a defender even if it's a CB or Safety. He's too reckless with his body when trying to do so. Hopefully that is something he can continue to work on.
I felt that Tua looked his best when Gesicki was on the team and Hill first got there. Jonnu Smith being there has opened up a lot for them...with a really talented TE McDaniel and Tua van play 3D chess with defenses.
Tua has been missing these players for his career but with McDaniel who knows how to utilize them : a TE (Jonnu) , 3rd RB (Wright) , true slot WR ( OBJ ) . Tua has the players who he was missing and KC has had for years and other QBs have had for years and Tua was missing for the same amount of years. The best thing that happened to McDaniel was Tua missing out of this offense this season. McDaniel learned a lot and it was a great thing not a bad thing. It made McDaniel see somethings to where he knows the combinations. Between the running game, passing game by Tua ( ARIZONA ), ( RAMS) Tua had really great passing numbers it was in the high 20's in both games NOT to mention the Bills game and in the Bills game, Arizona game, both GAMES Tua had the game WON the DEFENSE let the Dolphins and FANS down on the last drives IT WASNT TUA !!!! Have a great and safe day QBA Fins Up
9:09 part of me thinks he does that not only to try to find a gap to exploit but to mitigate the amount of force that a defender is able to hit him with too.
I was reading some comments about not trusting Tua or the Fin’s, another commenter said he is a realist. I am so sick of listening to these people!! Are you a fins fan or are you a commentator…or better yet a gambler betting on your team?? That would answer a lot. A real fan loves their team all the time and is completely stupid blind and denies any faults…lol! As stupid as that sounds it’s not a fans job to be an analyst or a realist. As far as betting, well that’s why those guys are always pissed at someone or something 😂
@blackdracula205 you can put up great numbers and still not win, we saw this the past 4 yrs. So here we go again, back on the hype train we're going on a run, we're on a 3 game win streak against below 500 teams. Now once again it comes down to one game on Thanksgiving to see if we can prove ourselves(i hope we win) then tua either chokes or we win and choke in the first round, theeeennn the narrative is, "ohhh well if tua wasn't hurt!" And the endless empty cycle continues.....
The ultimate goal should always be superbowl, it's the whole point. Don't settle for less. Dan Marino arguably the greatest of all time to not win a superbowl....waste of time
That is all well and said, however can Tua beat a team that is 8-2? So far Tua's record this season against winning teams 0-0. Overall record against winning teams. Last time I checked Tua is 7-16 against teams with .500 or better records. If you call NE a team that we measure Tua's attributes, fine with me; but I don't want to hear excuses when we play in Green Bay!
@@mikelibby9316 I'm not a hater, only a realist. Being a Dolphins fan since 1970 (prior to that year Colts fan) I've reached a point where trusting the Dolphins to do anything of substance, like reaching the Super Bowl, a task of going to Mars will come sooner, (Burrows with the cheapest owner in the league has taken the Bengals there, where the Dolphins have failed to reach in 40 F..ng years). So, unless I kowtow to the "love my Tua" chorus of obedience, I'm a hater? Paaaaaaaleaaaaase!
Not Tua's fault the Defense sold the Arizona and Buffalo game. Tua played lights out in those games and we lost because of the Defense. And those are your "winning teams"
To all the tua haters....its tua time...put up or shut up...😊

yeah totally agree. the o line is always a problem. Hopefully grier learns like all of the team has this year.
People are realising Tua was never the problem.. it was the Oline
Dude you made some really damn good points !!!
Hey thanks man! Phinz Up!!
WE NEED TO GET BIG BODY WR’s. He’s hittn Small targets. Imagine wat he a do with bigger WRs. (Jonnu) perfect example.
I think he is all we needed. And, Jonnu getting a big contract this off season or extension!
Tua elite when healthy 💯🐬🌴
Devon achane is like Tyreek hill playing rb he can run and catch out the backfield

Definitely agree Sam. I think the offense shifting is what we needed to start moving the ball on every team!
Smith.... what a difference he has made ..
For real!!
9:09 part of me thinks he does that not only to try to find a gap to exploit but to mitigate the amount of force that a defender is able to hit him with too.
I didnt even see that!
@ I can’t 100% sure that he does it for that reason but in my mind it seems like it makes sense. What do you think?
This team, right now, is better and relatively healthier than it has ever been. So if narratives can be broken, it’s time.
He finally has TE he can throw to. All the best QB had a TE to bail them out of the first read

Yeah they will always will say that stuff. It Is what it is.
Dude I know you've got to talk football but again tua is not that good....
What makes you say that?
If he is not that good, then how good are you?😂😅😊
I will get on the Tua train when he wins a game in the play offs
2:14 not only is he not complaining but he’s actively blocking downfield. Total team player.
Check down charlie
Dump off danny
🐬💦🏈😎 Absolutely we can beat anybody #9 Smith 🏈🙌
gonzalez is NOT the best CB in the league 🙂↔️
whos better?
@ sauce gardner, pat surtain, and jalen ramsey are a few 🦾
Miami is beating the Packers 33-23
Done! Finsup
Hope Love throws that routine Pick Thursday night 😂😂😂 Fins Up
I Love It!!
After he said, ‘Lamar Jackson is not a good QB’, I immediately stopped the vid cuz anything else he’s gonna say doesn’t matter. Absurd.
I'm watching tonight's game, and let me just say this, the Dolphins are nowhere near the level of both of these teams.
The chargers looked bad tonight…
We’ve Beat “BOTH” of those QBs Multiple Times last 3yrs wtf are you talkn about 😂😂😂.

No, I mean you are right but if he plays well it needs to be (which it won't be) over on the conversation on Tua.

We need to be able to run the ball against the better teams for Tiua to have a chance
