There will always be someone out there you admires you for your authentic self, not just appearance-wise but for your other aspects too. Nowadays people value looks too much, but what fulfillment in life does it really bring? All you are striving for is validation, and that is not what will truly make you happy. You can be just as happy and live a great life no matter the way you look. And by the way, as you get older and form relationships you start to realise how important inner beauty is.
