In English paper 2 I got 90% so I just think you should know your poems in and out like study all your poems ask your teacher to explain what you didn't understand in class and for the novel and drama you just have to read the entire book that is what I did from grade 10 till now in matric I think I read the novel and drama like 3 times until I can actually recite it
Also, I have an issue with understanding and answering the questions. I never seem to get them 100% right. When I think I might be somewhere, I get the marks back and they are horrendous. For paper 2 specifically. We also haven’t written government papers, we write our own and English at our school is so difficult.
@@favoronyekwere6106 I would suggest try to read your novel and drama 1 month, 2 weeks and 1 week before your exam especially if you are struggling to memorise a lot of info and test yourself with NSC English paper 2 past papers to analyse how to tackle your questions especially the higher order questions with 3 or 4 marks and check the memo and ask your teacher on techniques to answer literature questions especially with poetry read the summary of the poem then study line by line analysis,poetic devices,themes and language and with that you will actually excel in poetry to the point of getting total in poetry questions
