That was awesome, love a good calm storm, it's not very often they come without loads of wind. Top tip, buy a stainless steel pan, all you need to do to make it none stick is season it with coconut oil. Get the pan super hot as you would a wok before cooking then add a lump of the fat/oil and leave it on the heat for around 20-30 minutes. Take it off the heat and let it cool, once cool wipe off the excess and then you'll has a none stick stainless steel pan that shouldn't rust if it's good stainless. Great video Andy, looking forward to part 2.
The great thing about using stainless as well is you don't have to worry about it leeching into your food like the chemicals do from unnatural none stick pans.
@@Andysfishing No, I have a cast iron pan. My friend who I do a bit of carp fishing does and he's said that's what he did to his and it never sticks. I've stopped using my cast pan and just use his when we go out for a session.
The fishing rods sitting in the rod holders was giving me anxiety during that crazy storm. So glad you were ok. Btw, the black brim tailing was great footage even if you didnt catch one. Loved it!

Andy's Fishing wild cook inspired me to fish while on vacation in south Fla. From shore, I fished 6 times out of the 15 days, each time 3 to 4 hrs. I didn't catch much but I had fun. There can be so much more enjoyment involved in going fishing than just going fishing. I saw & heard so many things that put a smile on my face. Peace.

Andy try battery powered lawn blower to pump up your BIG DUCK to inflate. You may have to use plumbing to adapte to your inflation points. GREAT videos

I love a good thunderstorm! That inflatable should work great for you. I grew up using one to run around fishing/exploring the San Juan Islands of Washington state in the US and up past Desolation Sound in British Columbia, Canada. Probably close to 15 years of heavy use with only one hole that we had to patch in all those years. It was a piece of wire from a crab pot that did it. I might watch out for those stingray barbs though🫣. We don't have those around here.

good to see the electric again, been a while. where do they sell that lip grip Andy , do you sell it. Yamaha is the best outboard, but as you probably know they are very up them selves. I've lost count of the horror story's about Yamaha not wanting to service anywhere other then the dealership. happen to me, and so many others, its in there warranty if you look. so if your boat is to large for road transport they will happily trough you under the bus. the fishing charter across from my brothers boat in cairn marlin mariner is finding that out right now. 2 new huge engines, and a horror story for support. still best engines, if I was to buy another I would insist on a written contract with the dealer stating service and inspection at places agreed on other then, the dealership. funny thing is they will happily fit up new engines at a boat yard just have no commitment to repair, inspect, or service at one. I am also over their catch line of , on the rare occasion something needs repair, Yamaha does not break down sir, what did.... YOU do to it. spoken with the exact same infection and tone in all Yamaha dealerships I've ever been in, in Queensland, so obviously they are thought the say that line, from up higher in management. and sadly I am not Shure other outboard wholesalers are any better. I have only had mercury and Honda brands other then Yamaha, the Hondas really dont break down, but as they are only tiny/ small out boards there is little to, break down. the mercury is a mixed bunch, really really stay clear of the 2.5/ 3.5 4 stroke range they are just a very bad joke. I gave my two back to the dealer still under warranty,... and told him to slice them down the center and donate them to the tafe collage for the young ones to view. they had gearboxes and engines cut like that, when I did my apprenticeship. and that is all a merq 2.5 or 3.5 is good for,.... from new. good luck with finding a reasonable dealership and engine wholesaler, the wholesaler is the real devil in this, as they set the terms and conditions the dealer follows, by the way that fishing charter has just had a gearbox issue with one of those newish huge yammies well in warranty period, and was told not covered by warranty, bet they said,..... what did YOU do to it sir, as Yamaha dont break down. 😅🤣😂🙂😉
I've used Yamaha for decades, they said they were going to support me, then over a 6 month period they just dismissed me and kept palming me off to lower and lower people in the company. I will be going for another brand next, maybe Honda or Suzuki. The local Yamaha dealer also gave me a hard time because I never used them in the past for servicing. So when I had a bad/leaking trim tilt mechanism, they screwed it up, and charged me for a fix that lasted 2 weeks, basically they didn't replace a corroded cap and just replaced the seals. They also damaged the inside of the hydraulic cylinder when they didn't assemble it correctly. I read up on the procedure before I opened it to fix it myself, it's explained simply in the manual, I will never use them again. That was a year ago and no issues since! They seem to have created a bad culture within the company because they have such a popular product. It's very sad to experience.
@@Andysfishing dont want to whine to much but my trim tilt from about 1 year old winds up out of the water in reverse. probably your dealer in Mackay, just kept saying, I dont understand when I asked for someone to view the problem. it still does it 9 years later. I bet if it was out of warranty they would of said oh that's the relief valve springs, which is what it is. same dealer staff told me I should of got a yammy when I took in a new Suzuki 15 4 stroke with a massive flat spot from new. for witch they where/ are also the dealer. had to pull carbi apart myself and find problem. wouldn't buy a outboard from there ever. in there defense both the yammie 60 hi trust and Suzuki 15 where bought in cairns so they had little interest. well that enough whining, so the lip grips where from Andy.😁😄😀

Hey the screws on your front hatch you might want to just tighten up the screws sometimes they come loose but if not put a wash rubber washer on the top side and the bottom side of the hatch and you should be able to see them up
