as an 06 kid, polar express was banned in my house because i would watch it so much during Christmas time. Still to this day will watch it at least 1 a year
When i was little i liked it, but now it creeps me out lol
02 kid and I did the exact same thing. My parents used to play it to get me to come downstairs every december to help with stuff, lol.
04 and I agree it just brings me such nostalgia! Watched it for the first time in many years a few weeks ago and even though I get the whole uncanny valley thing people go on about, it’s just so comforting to me.
As an 05 kid, I was never able to get even halfway through without betting irrational scared lol, still to this day I haven't watched the whole movie
Polar Express was a motion capture movie, but the animation style was purposely made to look like a picture book, directly taking inspiration from the original picture book that the story is from.

People've said before, but you want to avoid trying to hide in the ghost room before it hunts; while it is wandering around everywhere in its passive state, it has a chance to _learn_ where you've hidden if it literally sees you in your spot during this phase of the investigation.

I had a similar bug to the blood moon thing the other day, except instead blood moon vs. regular, my friend was on amateur while I was on nightmare. They could see activity and sanity, and because the breaker started as on for them, our breakers were always opposite until the ghost finally turned it off for both of us. Turned out the game was actually nightmare, but for some reason they got access to the amateur benefits.
Arcane is absolutely amazing! The Art style, the story, the character development, the voice acting. It's BRILLIANT!!
I think it's the second time in a short while that I've heard good things about it. Must be worth it. Googling reveals that (1) it's finished and (2) it's only 2 seasons. Must say, it's refreshing seeing a series that actually gets finished, instead of going for a game-of-thrones-scale story or adopting a sitcom-like approach and then getting cancelled after the second season because of course

When I was watching the stream, I was SO confused when everyone was saying that the ghost was fast, until I remembered that I have been watching Impulse's old Apocalypse VOD, which is 150% speed. So annoyed my ghost-speed-ometer's out of wack!
I just watched that recently too, so when I’m sort of passively watching I won’t pay much attention to the speed cause it takes a while to get tuned in for me to be keeping up lol

I always find it interesting when people talk about animation made in the early 2000's (like Polar Express or the Star Wars prequels) as being creepy and uncanny. I grew up with movies like these, and I don't remember these movies being that creepy. Then again, I watched them on a TV built in the early 2000's, so I am convinced that the best way to watch any non-modern movie is on a TV from its own era.

The blood moon weather event can still happen, but now on any map. It was the final reward for the blood moon event, which we got- it has the same effects as when it was in the event.
Edit: Also, on the cheat sheet they have a setting that adjusts everything to blood moon speed for you! It’s this little moon button by evidence. It’ll turn red, and now when you listen to footsteps, they’ll match the speed!
Absolutely love these vods! Was able to catch the first hour or so live and it was awesome to watch you guys finally beat the prison!

Ok so wanted to clarify the fry sauce thing. In utah--the only state that sells fry sauce as a compound--it is mayo, ketchupp, AND pickle juice. While mayo-chupp is similar, it is considered separate in utah. I just think its interesting that the name 'fry sauce' exists outside the state as I was always told it was exclusive to utah
