Alan forever and jonylah forever are parallels to the main concept of the album (slaves jumping off the ships but actually surviving and using chains to pull down the other ships to save the rest of the slaves) . So slaves are essentially saving themselves (their race) . Jonylah was a little girl that was shot and killed in chicago and in the song its a parallel universe to where she grows up to be a doctor and ends up saving herself . Alan was a refugee child who drowned trying to swim to safety and in the song again its a parallel universe to where instead of dying he teaches himself how to swim and swims to the shore and meets jonylah . Those songs are just a parallel to the slave concept

Kendrick does not do the same thing 🤣 bruh Kendrick bars 🗑 you said it yourself, people don't wanna think... so they listen to Kendrick
Alan and Jonylah Forever, yes Lupe is basically giving these slain kids new life through the songs like an alternate universe where they actually live and help remedy the things that took their lives. They couldn't be right after each other because they fit different themes of the album. Alan was on the Wave disc where the water gives new life. Jonylah is on the Drogas album, which is Drugs in spanish, an acronym for Dont Ruin Us God Said
Agree with you on Nikki Jean, she's a treasure man. Wish she had more notoriety. It's funny cuz I see a lot of people always askin or wishing for a song with Black Thought and Lupe... Nikki has a song with Black Thought and Lupe on it and 🥷s don't even know it exists.
Man how you gonna listen to Mural Jr and haven't heard Mural yet?
This one of my favorite albums. Made my top 10 immediately but I don't know where yet.
