Florida Maddogg Actually there isn’t anymore those days are over if you would bother to look up statistics you would know there’s a higher percent of autos sold than manuals and that number keeps getting higher and higher and trust me I would much rather drive my manual 2006 gt over my 2018 10 speed but when I go to the track the auto is the car I’m sticking with performance is everything to me.
Devise I thought of buying the 2018 10 speed automatic and test drove it. I have to admit it is fast but since I don’t intend to race or go to the track decided to buy the 6 speed manual. Those extra tenths of a second don’t matter to me. When I’m coming to a stop and downshift and let off the gas that exhaust puts a big smile on my face. And when I’m driving on winding roads I am really driving that six speed manual.

I saw the Mustang I wanted on a local dealer's website for a good price. It had everything I wanted: paint color, black rims(performance pack), and it was gt. I got into my car to go buy it, but I forgot to check if it was a manual, so i checked the website again before leaving and, as I had hoped, it was manual! So I went and bought that bitch and I love it! If it was automatic, I wouldn't have bought it.

You probably never sat for 14 hours going inches during a hurricane mandatory evacuation driving a 5-speed. That's how long it took to go from my house (halfway between Houston and Galveston) to Intercontinental Airport on the north side of Houston.(49 miles took 14hrs in a manual.)
I agree with my mind changed on manuals when I sat in 14-hour traffic during a hurricane evacuation that was mandatory. Once you do that one time you don't ever want to run that chance again. It was the worst 14 hours I've ever had. I just got a 22' GT Premium and I chose the 10 speed and am so glad I did. You can't get the drive selection modes on the manual

Totally agree with you! The best decision I made was getting a 6 speed Dodge Challenger (5.7 ... I wish I would have gotten the 392). Again congrats on the new car and getting what you wanted!

I never drove a manual before and got a 2019 Mustang GT in manual, because my buddy’s are big into cars and they let me practice on their cars. So glad I didn’t get an auto! I literally just will drive my car for hours on end, can’t say the same if I got an auto.
When I bought my new mustang, I had to get my dad to drive it home and taught myself to drive it with RUclips videos because my dad isn’t the most patient person 😂, no regrets

It’s a great decision bro just leave the spring in there, pedal becomes like a stage 3 clutch when you remove the spring from the clutch pedal, besides you have the srt for when you wanna take a break from the manual

Man I went in today to buy a hellcat and they had zero manual widebody hellcats in the southeast. The guy at the dealer swore up and down that there’s no need for manuals and that manuals are slow. I just kindly showed him my race against a 392 8speed and he had zero to say after that. Then he said well it all comes down to the driver. Manual 4 life. I respect the autos as well. And don’t be worried about the forks breaking because you have your SRT to drive. My forks broke and it’s been 25 days but remember I beat the shhhhhhhhhhit out of my car and did waaaaaaaay too many redline shifts. When it broke I had 30,000 miles of very hard driving and redline shifting. So as long as you don’t drive like me yours shouldn’t break. And as I said even if it does you have your SRT. Plus not all the 2018s have the same problem.
I wish i could of gotten a 5.0 but insurance was going to be more than the car payment. But i had to drove 9 hours just to pick up my ecoboost premimium plus with 6speen manual.

And on 0-60 mhp or here in Europe 0-100km/h with the auto tm you put the foot down and wait what comes up and that´s it. With a stick shift you got to have skills for a good result !!!

I sold my 15 GT for 17 scatpack. Yes I love you car but I miss the shit out of driving a stick and yes the mustang sound is way better than my scatpack. Yes I do have the muffler delete on the scatpack and had 3 different exhaust setups on the mustang. I’ll be back! One more year!

Currently in a 2018 Camaro SS 6 Speed, the only auto I ever owned was my first car, an 88 Firebird. Always get stick when you have the option

Is the mt82 mustang shifter easy to shift. It looks like moving a toy joystick. Where as a T5 is a man shifter because it takes some musclei
I had 3 different 2014 Mustangs with the MT82, and one was a 5.0. It shifts smooth, clutch has a good feel too

@@nowifinoobs countess videos proving other wise. The 10spd 10r80 is whats putting these new Mustangs on the map. You never hear anyone say "watch out for the new manual mustang they're fast". It's the Auto Mustangs others get worried about racing.
U never hear it because too many ppl doubt the manual bc of what the internet says abt it i saw a stock manual hellcat beat a stock auto hellcat 3 times back to back and a mustang manual beat a 10 sp camaro ss and one guy proved he can shift faster in his gt350R against the new 10 speed he shifted one tenth fast like a tenth even matters tho point being u can out shift these new autos its a challenge but not impossible
