Just to answer Kautuk's question. The conflict in the 2011 WC movie would be about Yuvraj Singh winning the MOS while battling cancer and the movie culminating with Yuvi embracing Sachin and letting it all out.
I think the reason it was easier to stage an upset back in those days as compared to now is the professionalism in sports today. Back in the day most players would eat like any other person, nutrition and fitness wasn't a big part of the game, the players didn't play as much either, so players had less exposure and experience in different conditions. Data and analytics were also non existent. So the gap in teams was mostly based on skills of players and training facilities. Therefore the gap wasn't that large. But today every little advantage is exploited to the maximum. Everything from diet to data is focused on extracting maximum performance. And so the better teams end up getting better at a much faster rate than weaker teams. As a result the gap between the teams is ever increasing, becoming unassailable.
The Stream almost became a CRED Ad: “Whenever you shop compulsively, you get CRED Points on your Card. It’s as cool as Varun’s ability to do Physical Comedy.”
To Bangladesh question (all tho I'm not an expert or anything) we came to cricket just 20 years ago and in those year's we definitely got better but never been able to carry that forward ( like recent NZ series) and that because we never had players like dhoni or dada as a captan. Once Shakib, tamim, mushfiq and mahmudulla take off their cloves the possibility of winning WC will get less than ever and sad part we still don't have any replacement for them.
@@tericinemaka sure we won but players find hard to do them in international matches. Our biggest issue is consistent non of young one r consistent with their performance. Back in 2015 - 16 we really had some good players like sabir, soumya, anamul hussain bijoy, liton Kumar, mustafizur, taskin and many more but unfortunately lack of consistency and focus today they r out of team and I'm worried about Soumya too.
@@anisulislam1 Man Mustafizur was something else when he came. He is still good but not the same after his injury. Also I think there are problems in Bangladesh cricket board.

Be it Shark Tank India or US (that's the only one I have watched before the Indian version), I feel all the pitchers have a story to tell and even the sharks want to hear it to know how much passion and dedication the person has behind his idea/product where they want to put their own hard earned money. For shark tank US too there have been a lot of stupid idea's; there have been sharks like Ashneer who are straight forward, sharks like Namitha who hear the idea, wishes goodluck and gets out. Apart from the host part, they are following the same pattern only, plus educating people in between pitches with their definition of the business terms. I agree with Varun, the show's format is addictive (US or India). Don't know what Shark Tank bawa has watched that he's looking down upon the Indian version for no particular reason.
Kautuk's prediction came true that Varun after eating so many fatafats will get an emergency at around 30 min mark. But in place of Varun it was Bawa who suffered the effects of Varun eating fatafat at around 30 min mark.
I dunno how much times I've rewatched this episode, but for some strange reason, I laughed SO hard on the priyadarshan olympics soryt this time, I can't even comprehend how much I did. :' D
Arent varun and tanmay childhood friends? Never knew they dont even meet each other at their houses or have frequent meetings being in the same standup business.
You guys are amazing!! Although your conversations includes all men. However, it completely gender unbiased. @kautuk your second hand stories are so good, I watch TISS and second hand stories while driving to work in the morning 7 AM. It’s always fun relaxing driving for 30 min.
Guys, sorry for being random but… the h in Thomas is silent. The name’s pronounced as Tomas, thus nickname is often Tom. Noticed this since you guys were talking about Thomas Cook in a podcast once.
i kinda felt bad for that couple on shark tank... they were so happy when they were presenting their product...... and they got shamed on national television..
the conflict for 2011 world cup will be the first team to win the world cup on home soil and the irony is after that every world cup was won by the hosts.
39:48 Are Varun, It's not Sugar Chemicals, it's Sugar Cosmetics😂😂😂
The C in TISS stands for Consistency

28:40 and 29:00 Today I learned that Varun's Dad is only 15 years older than Bawa.
Maybe that explains his general disinterest in life (or at least his face)

How true!!🙌
The end of the episode felt like "Tanmay reacts on TISS podcast"
‘Shark Tank: India’ sounds like ‘India’s Got Talent’ but with Start-Up Ideas. I think we like the good ones but secretly hope to see the bad pitches 😂
Is it not like Shark tank ?
@@theaaravaanyachannel5493 Any Indian Reality TV Show that has auditions follows a certain format, I think.
