offered ? Sent for free for a review ? Sorry if i'm petantic, but I just see so many people reviewing these things... Personally such reviews, although you might mean well, if you don't know and use any of the others on the market then the review is quite worthless for potential buyers who should know what else exists on the market... this is a cheap china/no brand?... seems expensive compared to some of the others, what do you think? Do you have any other experience with the others ?
@@stekeeley1936 Good for you... you must have bought one of these already... coz a guy who makes videos got one for free, and in a very shallow way said it worked... good for you :)))
I have a really small highly portable Bluetti EB3A which I charge at night on cheap power then charge all my devices during the day. It can run my boiler or fridge freezer or TV or Broadband for hours and can charge in the car in about 1 hour when there's a power cut and has been used for this purpose. Today its £219
I was looking for one of these, a light weight version from a competitor, that I could use to charge my electric cycle with a non removable battery whilst on a four day tour. I checked with the manufacturer as the cycle charger needed a grounded earth. The battery power pack was not suitable. Just worth checking with manufacturers first with what you need it for as some devices must have grounded earth. It’s a lot of money to spend to find it won’t work 😡
Some EVs can supply up to about 3kW at mains voltage/frequency. Hyundai and Kia are two examples. One can buy inverters, of lower power, which will run off 12V in the car
We have a 1000w unit used for charging all our tech whilst at the caravan. I would love to try a 3000w unit to see if we could run the entire caravan with one of these as site electricity is really expensive. We charge our box using cheap overnight Octopus when at home, solar panels at the van and even plug it into the Tesla via its 12v lead to top it up. Brilliant bit of kit
My Ioniq 5 came with the V2L adapter, I think that gives me 3kW output, there's also a standard 3pin outlet under the rear seats that I think gives the same 3kW output. Some EVs are now coming with V2G capabilities which when used with the right V2G wall charger will feed power from the car back into the grid.
Totally agree Paul but our need is for fast charging video kit out on the road, specifically on the road between locations. V2G and V2L are not available while driving. Running your house is the subject of future videos and is growing fast. Hyundai seem ahead of the curve here
I've got a Anker 2100 Watt power pack in my Sprinter campervan and it's so useful especially as I don't have gas, but what I'm really here to say is ..... what a fantastic front boot/frunk the Tesla has. My ev is a Skoda Enyaq, and I love it, but sadly no frunk.
It served me well on the way back from a road trip to France when we stocked up the froot with wine and spirits. Under the legal limits of course. Customs in France searched the car and boot, looking inside our suitcases but never opened the froot.

I'd love to get one of those to power my TV during the evening on 7p per Unit off-peak stored power, but I doubt the savings would make it worthwhile.
You would save about 7 pence per night or about £25 per year, going to take some time! Works out after 50 years it would start to pay for itself 😂
@@bordersw1239 "Every little helps!", as Terry used to say. ;)
Although, I did say "but I doubt the savings would make it worthwhile.". :)
or you could get a EV6

Frunk! For Frunk's Sake!

no need for this in my Ioniq 5 :)
Nice bit of kit, just not for me, as much as I feel I want one!
Some of these chinese power bank things are huge fire risks, especially these unknown brands. Not a chance id store than in my car.
A disconnected battery powered down with no load is something you worry about?
Nice kit, nice price. But as with all these things they refuse to ship to NI. Ah well… 😢
My name is not Frootenstein!!!!
Might I suggest deed poll?
Cheers Dave
Good bit of Kit
You are on all EV channels.
When are you getting your EV?
@@harmony3138 I don't drive
