  • It's a been a few years since Ryan Dungey last lined up behind the starting line for a professional race, but life has been very busy for the multi-time Supercross and motocross champion. He and wife Lindsay have traveled the world, continued to with KTM, had their first child over the summer, and moved back home to their native Minnesota. What's retired life like for Dungey? Well, he's putting in the hours at the family businesses and staying active with his St. Jude Children's Research Hospital ambassador role. At the Ironman Motocross, we caught up with RD5 and discussed life after racing.

    You already know that KTM is grooming Dungey to eventually become the race team manager. He's staying involved in the sport for a reason. He's going to be a very good manager as he brings his experience, knowledge, and maturity to the team. KTM are no dummies...

    Such a great interview. Just wondering how RD5 was doing, blessed to know his family comes first. Better to this then Ryan wanting to race again. He did what was needed for the sport, fans, himself and for his family. always good to see updates.

    Remember when they laughed at Ryan about the way he went about winning championships. Looks like Ryan got the last laugh, because his formula is now the standard on the tours. I wish he and the wife and the baby would do a Wheaties box. President Dungey sounds good.

    If I could pick anywhere in the US to live... that would be a hard choice! I don’t know where I’d pick?!? Saw a conspiracy type video that said the Navy told its higher ranking officers to invest in the Arkansas Ozarks or something like that, not sure what that’s about? I would want someplace that was warm year around, but not super hot.

      Gregory Vierra he talks about choosing to live in Minnesota still even though they could’ve chosen anywhere to live... I’m saying if I had the money to choose anywhere it would be a tough choice, but I would want to be able to ride year round.

    • @charliemike13
      @charliemike13 5 лет назад

      La Flama Blanca thanks! I was responding to when he was asked about choosing to stay on Minnesota when they could live anywhere. I was thinking if I had the money to choose, I would probably want somewhere you could ride year round. That’s all. But, yeah, thanks for taking the time to reply that I’m a weirdo for commenting on part of the video. The conspiracy theory thing I actually did hear, however it was a failed attempt at humor. So, so, sorry.
