I won a bid on a project where I was more than double what the other contractors were. Guy calls me and says we were by far the most expensive but he felt we would do the best job. Job was very profitable and helped our business tremendously. Customer was very happy at the end of the job as well. Don’t let the head trash get to you. Not everyone is looking for the cheapest bid.

I listened to this video twice and still didn’t understand what ‘break even point’ was until I googled it and confirmed what I already knew it meant.
    break even
    phrase of break
reach a point in a business venture when the profits are equal to the costs.
"the firm will break even at the operating level this year"
I like the videos but i couldn’t wrap my head around this one haha

Great content as always Tom, just one quick question. Presumably you're referring to overheads as fixed costs not variable costs, is that right? Also, am I right in saying that every sale after breaking even, becomes 100% Net profit? Please confirm, thanks man, absolutely love your channel, the best on YT for contractors :-)

      All OH fixed or variable.
Money above that after COGS is Net.
