Often the product never makes it to the customer because the packaging gets crushed , torn, damaged in some fashion while in transit. In this case, the delivery drivers use discretion and return the items. In the US it is common for a shipment to be delayed by a couple of days when this happens. The glitter dots seem to be a disaster in the making so start with those 😄

I got a pressure cooker "like new with damaged packaging" and then it had a big dent on the side. I did a chat with them and they offered me an additional 20% off and since it was on the back and didn't affect the functionality I accepted! Also, I have seen stores that buy random pallets of Amazon returns (I assume very cheaply) and then resell what they can. Things will be missing parts or just broken etc.
when I got my headset, I decided to try out the used one, because it was 50€ off (new one would’ve been 150€), it came like new but was missing a charging cable, I had tons of cables at home but decided to contact amazon anyway, and they gave me 50€ back for the cable 😂 I ended up paying 50€ for a 150€ headset

I'm surprised how good of a condition all of these were in! This is like if Steph and Adam made a tv show called “Doctor Art”’ where Steph the nurse finds art supplies and brings them into the hospital in different conditions and Adam is the doctor and you two try to rehabilitate art supplies back to full health so they can be free to be used.
I used to have the color wonder markers as a kid!! I used to draw on anything I got my hands on and I think my parents got tired of me getting crayon on important stuff so they gave me a LOT of those pages and markers 🤣

Oh I had the color wonder stuff as a toddler! That line has been available in the US for at least 15 years. From what I remember the markers worked, but the ink would fade off the paper after like 6 months, even if it was stored in the dark. I wonder why Crayola doesn't sell it in the UK.

Yeah this! The way amazon operates is to just ship out stuff at maximum speed & ignore damages that can occur, because it's still more profitable. Boxes especially take the brunt of rough handling and shipping.
Amazon used is such a crap shoot. You can get the most amazing things that are brand new, or get an expensive item that doesn't work. Those were all so lucky! Can't wait to see how those glitter stencils work.

I picked a smaller package for a few bucks many years ago and they DO NOT stick onto paper if a remember correctly and have a play doh like texture. Very interested to see what you guys would do with them because it’s definitely a contender for worst crayola product ever lol

Amazon Warehouse is often just damaged packages, not just returns. They're pretty great if they actually mark down the prices. In the US it's often only marked down a few cents or a dollar or two.

Amazon warehouse employee here I believe we also have something called Amazon Warehouse deals or something like that. I could be wrong. Those are items that are damaged in the warehouse that are marked down for lower price. And the only way I know that is because I work in damage land where we separate the bad damages from the good damages and from the inventory items that were wrongly sent to us Damaged land employees are supposed to be the ones to repackage and to make sure it's pretty enough to be received We don't always do that If you've ever received an item that has an LPN at the front of it, those are Second Chances if those items are returned to us again, they're sent to us to be destroyed

maybe the "like new" items were leftovers from a store (that apparently had rats?) and the "used - acceptable" were ordered and send back by private people, so they put the condition like that just to make sure?
people probably return it because of the box. I usually open things to make sure the inside is fine before considering a return because if it's like my area the mailman will literally punch boxes into my mailbox to make them fit LMAO (I have had a hard time pulling some of them out because of it too lol.)
