Just get up in the morning take a cold shower, brush your teeth, discharge, do your Tibetan rituals and go back to bed. Wake up recharge, eat breakfast, go for a walk with your dog, pick some dandelions and groove on this music.
Excuse me, good music is good music, excellent music speak by itself. The point is to have the right sensitivity, "right ears" and therefore be able to see beyond what you perceive as unpleasant. Now try to listen again please
@@jimrader5299 You'd be surprised. I've met non-musicians who love Erik Satie (not atonal but worth mentioning), late Scriabin (okay technically he was a musician but he played drums for a school band), Bartok, Reich (technically minimalist but again worth mentioning), and Stravinsky (not the neoclassical stuff). Five different people, and there are probably more I'm not thinking of.
Wolpe is such a good a composer! Wish he was played more often.
Thanks for posting this!
wolpe's name familiar, but i never heard his music till now. very engaging. i'd venture to say cecil taylor heard him early on.
thank you!!

Man, is this damn thing long! A real sleeper.
All a tonal music is the same.Un pleasant run on sentences that you can enjoy by yourself but not at happy social occasions!
