Thanks, I'm new and had to fix my bank account yesterday so I'll be expecting a payment early next week!
Waiting 3 days for the payout? This is insane! I want to be able to invest my money back in the business as soon as possible!
3 day payout time is normal, insane if you have to wait for 3 weeks or 3 months, then the word 'insane' would be suitable.
if you are using proper bank channels, 3 days is very normal for them to clear payments. Never heard same day payouts in bank account.
You can have way faster times but might charge a cent or something like that
we been waiting 2 weeks now and we have 5-10 sales everyday
As most of our customers are B2B and Government is it possible to run the shopping cart without using a website integrated gateway? In our current system we collect the CC info and process the CC via our inhouse gateway. Is there an option to collect the credit card data without it going through a website gateway?
Can you help us understand why it takes at least 3 working days to process? It seems very old fashioned? Is it a technology thing?

Hello I'm not able to make payment monthly payments using my debit card to Shopify. It was possible before Shopify changed from dollars to indian rupees. Can you tell me why? Did anyone else have same problem? Payment is not going through for maintaining the online store. Pls give a solution or guide on next steps.

I have funds hooked up to go into my a Shopify Balance card. Do I need to fulfill the order first before shopify releases the funds to me? Or can I wait the 1-3 days ti receive my funds via Shopify balance card and then fulfill the order?
Hi, there! You can use Shopify Balance to receive payouts from your Shopify Payments account, which would require that you fulfil and order and capture the funds from that customer first: (shopify.link/l2xr).
My date of birth is wrong on Shopify so how do I change my date of birth so I can receive payments? Have searched forums, link to connect with a support advisor not working, please help. We have been trying to get this resolved for a few weeks now. Don't know what else to do.
Hi, thanks for reaching out about this. Information for Shopify Payments accounts, like Date of Birth, are stored internally and cannot be accessed within the Shopify admin. Only our dedicated Shopify Payments team are able to help update these types of information for merchants, and they can be reached via an escalation from our live support team. Once in the Help Center, you can type "contact support" in the chat box, and the virtual chat assistant will provide you with your next steps on how you can contact support.
I see you mentioned that the link to contact our team isn't working on your end however, are you referring to the Help Center link? If so, can you please try the following:

My payment is stll pending since 2cweeks
I have Contrado integrated with my Shopify. Currently, whenever someone places an order for a Contrado product, the money’s taken from my own bank account rather than the customer. Is this the normal procedure, and is there any way to change it as I don’t understand why the money can’t be taken directly from the customer in the first place?

Yes, you will still get paid, however you should not accept orders if you are not there to ship the product in a reasonable amount of time or your customer could report you.

i got order last night customer made payment through paypal. the order i recived is pending because payment is pending so CJ dropshipping is not picking up order. Can someone please explain what i should do? thank you
Hey there! Generally this can happen when an order is processed through PayPal but the PayPal account hasn't been fully set up yet. If the order was processed through PayPal, make sure to sign in to PayPal using the email address you used to create your Shopify store. You will then need to complete the account set up for business to release the payment. This can include verifying your identity and address. Hope this helps!

If you don't have a PayPal business account with the email address you use to sign into your store, then you can add your email address to an existing PayPal account or sign up for a new PayPal business account with the same email address you use to sign into your store. As per the Shopify Terms of Service, you must be the older of: (i) 18 years, or (ii) at least the age of majority in the jurisdiction where you reside and from which you use the Services to open an Account: shopify.link/j38q. If you are under 18, I'd suggest speaking with your parents and advising them that you're interested in creating an online store to start a business. This means that your parents will need to create and manage the Shopify account until you become of age to manage the account yourself. Given that, your parent's banking information and personal information will be used to create the account.
