    10 & 10 and visualization of a spring is a great way to cue solid core technique. Great video and breakdown.

      Thats a cue that I start with any movement regarding flexion and extension of the trunk. Plank, Deadbugs, Deadlift. Helps paint a good picture

    I have a disproportionally long torso, so I have to squat a little lower in order to keep the bar close to me. Otherwise my lower back gets super sore when I deadlift in the 300s

      Oh I hear you. I have worked with many athletes like that. I like elevating the bar for that situation

      The only problem is I'm training for a career where I might need to lift stuff from low off the ground. So just gonna get really good at deadlifting with by butt lower

    What about the trap bar?

      I will coach it the same but there are a few nuances that are different because of the angle of your hands and where the bar is positioned at the set up. I might do a breakdown of that as well
