Something a bit different this time, I like it! Outstanding weathering as usual and some great detail upgrades. Thanks for sharing your hard work, it's always a good week when there's a new video from Mr Lin to watch!
Fantastic! Great build I just got one of these 2 weeks ago so this was so timely. I love the music. So chill. So unique compared to most channels with canned music of heavy metal. Keep up the great job.
@@ableaquariums5480 nice!I think the shape of takara one is nice, just a little modification will make it looks better, wish this video is useful for you.. cheers!!😊
Ive never tried this method of pre-shading, usually I prime it all in grey and use dark around the corners, but the result here is great. I will try to get a Scopedog and follow along the video, thank you
Very nice build! The paint work and modifications are beautifully done. I have a question if you're able to answer. I was wondering how you made the shoulder armor removable for painting? If I try to pry it off the two connection points the seam will crack. I have the Wave/Takara version, but I believe that part is the same. I noticed there is some white styrene inside the rounded armor so I assume that is part of your modification.
hi,about the modification of the shoulder armor, I shortened the fixed pins on the shoulder (square part) parts, stretched the shoulder armor slightly, and then combined it. the other way is relatively simple.... Cut a gap (about 1/3 of the circle) in the positioning hole inside the shoulder armor for fixing to the shoulder, and then slide the shoulder armor into the shoulder joint. I assembled this kit about 20 years ago.. no documentary footage.. hope my narrative is helpful...
thank you! this ia a 1/24 scale model and about 18 cm tall..😊 Plamax Strike Dog is also 1/24 scale.I got one of that too.which is just slightly larger than scopedog...the Plamax Strike Dog is a great model!!👍

@@MRLINSSCALEMODELING Thanks so much.. shortening the pin was what I was thinking of doing so it's good to have confirmation that it'll work.
Working on the same kit now. What airbrush are you using?
thank you!! I use Mr.hobby ps270 0.2mm and ps289 0.3 mm airbrush
I really admire the weathering technique! How tall is this figure? I have the Plamax Strike Dog and would like to see how well it scales. Thank you!
