This podcast is one of the main things helping me while I'm detoxing myself. Been on methadone for 10 years (from a clinic, not illicit), and I finally decided to jump off. It sucks, and a month later I'm still only sleeping 2 hours a night on a good night. I can't work right now because of the withdrawals, so the only thing I can do to take my mind off of the pain and discomfort is trying to work out and watching podcasts, and this one has helped me tremendously. Thanks Bobo, Tino and crew! 5 weeks and still clean.
I’ve been on Suboxone for nearly 10 years and although I’ve weaned down to the lowest dose prescribed it’s been hell trying to get off completely. I can’t imagine trying to get off methadone I hear it’s one of the worst. Hope your through the worst of it brother. Bad friends has gotten me through many a tough time. Genuinely one of the only things that consistently makes me laugh
I detoxed off methadone many years ago and I can say it was the hardest thing Ive done. I was still sick 6 months later and just wanted relief from my symptoms, but I stuck it out, basically laid in my bed a lot, watched t.v., took naps, did what I could until I couldnt last from lack of energy, and I ate good healthy food. I will tell you its hard as hell, it lasts a long time, it is miserable, your bones will ache, you will have an upset stomach for months, you will feel like dog shit, but your body is working each day to rid itself of that poison, and when it does, you will have energy, you will feel good, normal again, if you can even remember by then what normal is. You get so used to feeling life on the meds, you forget how good it can be off them. hope you stuck with it, and I hope you are doing well today.

Bobby was originally lying talking about how she’s super nice, but has never casted him in anything, ever- but he still auditions for her, bc she’s nice. Andrew gets her on the phone, even though Bobby begged no- and it turns out, she did cast him in one thing he forgot/lied about. He was so embarrassed, and had a melt down on Andrew for doing that. Eventually evolved to, “what am I even doing- I’m not funny- this whole podcast sucked, I hate everything I’m doing- I wanna be a cool kid.” Blah blah
