In college we'd go to Chinatown when it was someone's birthday. I remember ordering bullfrog and they sent the chef out to say "you know if you don't like it, you still have to pay, right?" I thought it was delicious... But... I didn't know you weren't supposed to eat the bones. :( I just crunched straight through them.

frogs taste like chicken with finer texture. crocodile tastes like chicken with slight hint of fish. 😁😁 although i have been to Egypt and the middle east several times, never got a chance to try camel meat. i was told there is nothing else like it.
I'm glad they prepared the frog well. I caught bullfrogs long ago and didn't really care for the taste. It wasn't bad or good; it just tasted like fish on a bone.

In Malaysia , the bullfrog is called Padi chicken so the foreigners will not think they are eating frogs which may turn many people off if they think, they are actually eating frogs. BTW frog meat here is more expensive than chicken meat.
