Cool stack of records. B.J. Thomas had a huge hit here in the United States called Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head. It was used in the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. There's a famous scene when Paul Newman is riding a bicycle with Katherine Ross sitting on the handlebars and that song is playing. That clip is on RUclips. Hope you're enjoying the summer Stephan!
Excellent assortment Stephan. That Slade single is an interesting one. Who was the band that took that song to number one in the eighties? Was it Quiet Riot? I thought that the Rock Generation looked promising. Some big names on it. It looks like the Yardbirds played that show. But they put down the individual names on the cover. Topper's album may be cool too. Did you hear it yet? Congrats on the 1k. So cool that more people are going to enjoy the channel that I have been enjoying for over thirteen years now. It's always cool to find odd 45s - the UKW 45 looked the most interesting of the 45 batch - and I see they had an LP as well... I have a few Status Quo oddities on CD - did not know they had so many "later" LP releases but I think that they were more popular in Europe than here in the U.S. ...I used to have that Deserters LP - remember liking it much! ...I also just found a very good LP on the Springboard label, "Original Oldies, Vol 5" - great because it contains only releases on the Mira label... The Grace, Karat, and Michael Elo LPs all look interesting - always looking for that obscure rock stuff! Heading to the local Goodwill store now - Mondays are senior day and we "oldies" get a 20% discount on their normally $1.99 LPs! Thanks for showing these records!
Status Quo were huge in Europe. They were everywhere in the mid '80s. Personally I love the stuff they did from 1967 - 1976. I wish they had discount for "oldies" at Thrift stores here in the Netherlands. Sadly everyone pays full price!
I'd celebrate your thousand subs with status quo and some beer 😉 Patrick Moraz was in the band Yes mid 70s he's a keyboard kinda guy (maybe replaced Rick Wakeman?) I'm no prog expert.I think I had that one once but I remember absolutely nothing about it.😅

That Patrick Moraz album was very mediocre, maybe that is why you don't remember it.
