Wild Bill Davison started his career in 1927 playing with various local groups, in the Chicago area, until 1932. Cornettist with robust and very personal sound. he formed in Milwaukee in 1931, with Frank Teschemaker, a big band who later had much success in New York's musical circles, so much so that many instrumentalists were his followers.
