    Not only is he the model TE for the GIANTS, he is a role model for the entire NFL. Not one TE in today's game, can claim that Mark hasn't already accomplished. Not only did he achieve those accomplishments, he also stayed humble through the entire journey. A great role model for all future He's in the NFL!

    One of Coach Parcells' and my favortite players. A great Giant who epitomized what we fans have come to know as "Giants Football.'' Excelled in every facet that goes in to becoming a premier tight end. Tough as nails that should be a Hall of Famer. I was at that Steelers preseason game played in Three Rivers Stadium on a Friday night. As a Giants fan I was horrified when Zeke got hurt. He was great in his own right. I agree. Daniel has the perfect mentor to emulate.

Four of them before there was a super bowl. I was too young to remember the previous 4 so I'm grateful for the 4 super bowls.

    I used to work at the Meadowlands back in the 1980's & let me tell you something mark Bavaro was a beast, he stood 6'4" & about 235 but he was built like a brick shithouse, I worked as security for Burns security and I used to see the players after every practice, Taylor, banks ,bavaro,, Morris, simms, Marshall, Carson, I used to see them before each game on Sundays when they were home, they knew me and never forgot them they were a great great group of guys, I have autographs of most of the players the Giant's had in 1985- 86 the superbowl yr that they won over Denver, these guys were great to me I'll never forget them never & I'm a huge giants fan also since I was 6 yrs old, LETS GO BIG BLUE GIANTS FOREVER.

    • @gpipeline
      @gpipeline Год назад

      Not even close. Not in the Hall of Fame. A good tight end, but let's be real here. Under 5000 yards receiving, just 351 catches lifetime aand 39 touchdowns. He had very 4 good seasons max. You don't give credit to at least 15 tight ends that had better careers.

    • @Efilnikufesin76
      @Efilnikufesin76 Год назад

      @@gpipeline Until then, none of them existed. In his day he was the best. Lighten up the rules like in today's game, you might be speaking a different tune. Ronnie Lott would be a penalty machine in todays game. Ronnie is a HoFer headhunter, yet got dragged by Bavaro for 12 yards having help from others when the money was on the line. Bavaro dished it out and took it from the best when the rules were not in his favor.

      Absolutely loved Bavaro. He was definitely an HOF caliber player. Unfortunately injuries cut short his career and that's the main reason he's not in Canton. He just didn't do it long enough. Different league then too so his numbers don't look great compared to modern TEs. But man did I love how he played the game. Definitely in my personal HOF.

    Loved Bavaro but if Shockey doesn't break his leg in week 14 vs the Skins, we have an easier playoff run and he goes on to be an even better TE than Mark. Shockey was a better athlete and just as tough as Bavaro. Bavaro and Shockey are the best 2 TEs in Giants history.
