Second, there is a reason why Israel imposed a blockade of the Gaza Strip back in 2006, and that is due to the fact that Hamas -- which has controlled the Gaza Strip for the past 18 years -- has been firing literally tens of thousands of rockets, missiles, and mortars at Israeli population centers since 2006. Apparently, though, you were completely unaware of the fact that Hamas has not stopped firing rockets, missiles, and mortars at Israeli population centers since 2006.

If you know that is the case, then you know Israel is the one not just protecting its own border, but putting a blockade around Gaza and destroying the quality of life of every inhabitant in this open air prison they created.
If I was 30 years old and living under those conditions since I was 13 when I clearly could not have been responsible for anything that would be deserving of that, I would be doing a lot worse.
