Our Duck Big Poof is a Rock Star

Big Poof is a white crested duck, which is a breed that has been selected for the crest. Her personality is very unique though. We had another crested duck, her original pal, who passed away a few years ago and had a very different personality.

However, white crested ducks are more likely to have seizures. And that topic is what the 3rd most popular video on this channel is about. Big Poof has had many seizures in her 5 years. Fortunately, her seizures are not as disabling as some seizures I have read about in the comment section or seen in other videos. On bad days Big Poof spends her time in our safe bathtub under more frequent supervision.

Big Poof likes to talk to crows and really exercise her wind pipes in ways that our other breeds of ducks can't or choose not to. Big Poof's daughter seems to have similar vocal capabilities but chooses not to exercise those rights.
