God bless Snr for doing this man.
5 mins of his time will mean the world to this kid
Sr is funny as hell to watch… he moves with this swagger than always makes me laugh.. and right before he gets started with a movement there is like a little pause 😂😂😂
Brilliant, School is In Session!
Floyd Senior still looks strong and in shape, his knowledge is priceless to young aspiring fighters, Amazing! 👊
You can clearly see the passion that this man has for teaching. My respects to Mayweather Sr. Greetings from Argentina
I hope his son takes up teaching as well, their style needs to be preserved
LOVE BIG FLOYD! The Knowledge he has to give is TRULY PRICELESS!
He is master who taught floyd.
That counter off that shoulder roll is vicious.. That was Jrs bread and butter to control the fights
@@LifesLessons100 YES!!! truly vicious!!!
He was floyds defensive mind. Roger was floyds offensive mind. Creating one of the most well rounded fighters.
priceless...snr....GB ...
Be great to learn off that man
He good! If sugar and him fought again? For sure I'll bet all my money to sugar! 😂😂😂
Bro he's old why would he fight again? Don't be slow
🗣it’s frustrating to watch because the kid doesn’t practice his proper pivots for the punches on his on time. Now it’s time to learn combos and techniques and he is off balance
Goat of trainers
This kid gonna be the champ one day
How can you tell
@@pulse4456 You can't.
Well, shit... thanks.

My coach says learn the shoulder roll once the fundamentals are in place. Otherwise you’ll be eating the canvas. The shoulder roll needs to be earned.
I was told the same thing, I came to boxing thinking I was gonna be the Philly shell king but my couch would never let me lol
@@Seaneskatejitsu 😅
he didnt want to break your heart and let you know the truth that your to slow and already to old to learn it.
@@TheMrmodernmonkey thanks man
Saw a guy fighting for a regional championship try it middle of the 2nd round, but he was obviously didn't have the reaction time to pull it off. It didn't even look like he was trained to the point where it came naturally, it was stiff and awkward. He was KOed in the 3rd.
Sr looks like he in great shape for his age
@@aaronm.3581 dude he's 69 yrs old
@Aaron Moher bro he’s 66
@Aaron Moher I’m literally the kid in the video so unless Floyd lied to me about his age, he’s 66
@Aaron Moher bro Floyd Jr is 43, so you mean to tell me that Floyd Sr had him at 3 years old lol
@@taylorsavage3975 this comment deserves an award
🙏 Missing black mamba after that smh
Yup
Kobe was a fan of Pacquiao.
i was waiting for sr. to have a flash back and start swinging back.
I swear he was having flashbacks when he did the shoulder roll you can see it in his eyes! He was having flashbacks of him and sugar Ray... Idc what nobody say sr Maywhether he actually stood on all 10 toes wit sugar Ray Leonard,it was to gw piint sugar was looking at him like sugar Ray u have my respect. And I love to watch a great match like and the showmanship that they both for one another it's was beautiful to watch and this way before my time. I got to watch the fight yesterday.
This Kid will remember this lesson for the rest of his life
I wish I had the opportunity to train w/ Floyd Mayweather Sr. He is a well of knowledge!
Would love to have the privilege of working with him as well. Excellence at its finest !!
@@KnowledgeLearningChannel well said!

@@amagov_chris3720 Yeah! Send me the plane ticket plus expenses. Thx!
Isn’t that a private gym
So beautiful to see him still doing it.
Props , but this guy is not ready for a first amateur fight, unless he fights with someone as green as he is , which sometimes do not happen in the amateurs. Alone by seeing how he lunges forward while throwing the cross , has me worried!
Yea he has no hook either and leaves his gloves down a lot and doesn’t snap his punches back, he’s obviously just a child and has a lot to learn but in today’s age, some of these kids are super talented and skilled already at that age.
😂youngin got some pop the look on Sr face when he punched after he said punch faster
My cousin looking good out there fr 🔥🐐
Your cousin is Floyd Mayweather Sr?
@@KickingAssDaily no lmao
This kid look more like he preparing for his first professional bout 🤔
Yesssirr
are you serious
I was ab to say 😭 he most definitely murdered who ever he fought most people fight there first fight too early.
Love watching Mayweather Sr training people! 👍
Floyd Sr should be in the Hall of Fame.
Why would sr be trying to teach the kid a whole different style right before his first fight...
Floyd Mayweather senior is amazing
He's always looking to see who's watching 😁😭😂
What a shame he never won trainer of the year
The king of the defense
Floyd Mayweather jr is tbe because of Floyd Mayweather Sr. Floyd’s said it himself on several occasions. I love to see big Floyd sharing his wisdom with young fighters that are eager to soak it up. I never really cared much or even thought much of boxing until about a year and a half ago, since then I’ve lived and breathed boxing, I absolutely love the sport, it’s literally all I watch, the nfl used to be my favorite sport and the Cowboys my favorite team, they still are and I still like football, but I effing love boxing. There ain’t no comparison with boxing and football, or basketball, which is another of my previous favorite sports. Boxing baby, all day. I even got into the political parts of the sport of boxing, the promotional side, because when I get into something and have a passion for it I wanna go in 100% and learn everything I can and then some
welcome to the family my brother!
he boxes better than ben askren
Y'all do know that Floyd Mayweather Sr who taught Floyd everything he know. He had to show Floyd the shoulder roll before all the boxing skills that's why he never lost
Floyd Sr is a good trainer.
This is like the best possible boxing coach you could ask for.
Need to cut his hair so he can see
Floyd sr a legendary trainer
If when he standing there gauging the young man uncanntell he is looking for holes in his game
It looks so natural
This kid will be fighting the best of the best in years to come if he continues the sport of boxing
Kid got talent. Good luck
Love it
Look at gervonta in background
Old head Floyd funny as shit,
2:44 I thought Floyd was literally going to pass out then. 😂
An Army of Mayweathers 😂
Idk man there’s a reason you hardly see people use this technique in the pros, you have to be a master at it or you’re going to get beat up
Very true but this technique works wonders if you master it. It's able to reduce the impact by over 25% as well as protect you. I think this technique mastering is helped floyd become the best defensive boxer ever.
@@karnvirbhangu334 Yeah but you can't master it unless you've been doing it since you were a child
@rjtheoptimistt Floyd’s a master at it that’s why lol. My comment was towards those who aren’t
Joy getting old. Sad to see
Gota respect it 👊🏼
bop bop bing then bop
No offense to the trainers I did have, but if Floyd sr. had trained me in my teens I think my life would have gone down a very different path and I'd be a retired millionaire by now.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Maybe?
It's awesome to seem him working with a green amature. He must see something in the kid. No matter how charitable good trainers try to be with their time they'll always find a few more rounds for the most dedicated and motivated.
Or maybe the kid just has rich parents.
The only legitimate punch to counter that style is a overhand right to the temple. Only punches that floyds gets caught with cleanly. And if you notice most his opponents are always trying the punch especially Maidana. But thanks to floyds impeccable defense and footwork he always manages to dodge it for the most part. But that's the only true weapon against the philly shell unless you're a South paw which then gives tou a few more punch options
Loved watching this. Big Floyd created a boxing god. I’d love to be that kid. Imagine a white boxer coming out here like mayweather jr. I don’t know if the world is ready.
Shoulder roll is good when the enemy don’t know how to straight hammer. But enemy knows about it then shoulder roll is not perfect.
Right because Floyd Mayweather Jr went 50-0-0 because shoulder roll doesn't work
@@therealdrhankmccoy5047 Fmj is good at everything. Not just the shoulder roll, he is also a great high guard boxer
@@prodjackgraves he perfected the shoulder role
@@therealdrhankmccoy5047 Yes, he did. But he also perfected the jab, the pull counter, etc. He did not go 50-0 through having just a good shoulder roll.
@@prodjackgraves I never said he only used the shoulder role. Read the original comment on the thread and don't be slow
THE SHOULDER ROLL will save alot of concussion
Overhead hook to penetrate to shoulder roll
Yes then head movement has to come into play
Super👍
Floyd Senior scored him a nice crack rock that afternoon!
Ol' man Mayweather.....teachin' it wit' love!!!
This was frustrating to WATCH
I just wanna know how this kid gets private lessons from Mayweather Sr.??!?!
Money ! I don't think it is that difficult to get a session if you are willing to pay his fees.
Damn that kid looks pretty good especially for a first fight lol
Utah in the house!!!!!! good work kid
Such good trainers clicked soon as I seen thumbnail
Floyd senior is the REAL DEAL. He was a fast fierce animal of a fighter when he was fighting and he still is.

Peak James Toney did this amazingly, mayweather just copied his moves
Mayweathers been doing it way before Toney. Look Floyd sr and Roger Mayweather.
What, are you talking about..... Floyd senior has been doing this since the 70s
No one gaf what you think, hater.
That boy clearly a casual & a Mayweather hater
You mean Toney copied the Mayweathers moves? I'm guessing you didn't watch boxing before the 90s? Jr. wasn't the first😂😂🤣
