Zotero is a great reference manager to be more efficient in your research. A great feature of Zotero is the ability to annotate your research articles directly in your reference manager. In fact, you can highlight, create notes, and take screen captures of articles directly in Zotero. You can even color-coordinate your annotations in Zotero. Then, you can create article notes from your annotations and export them.

This was exactly what I was looking for!
YAY! I am so glad!
It really made my life much easier than before.
I am so glad!
running into a bit of a problem - when highlighting a sentence that continues onto the next page, zotero doesn't register that highlight as one single annotation but splits it up into two (and also takes footnote/header text with it). is there any solution to this that anyone knows of? other than that, thanks for the vid, nicely comprehensive, and just what i needed re: annotating pdfs within zotero itself.
Super clear and helpful. Thank you so much :)
Thank you so much for this wonderful informative video.
Well i've a query if u may please help me with that...
I want a higlighter to be used on a particular line of a PDF which may be scrolled up an down, just like you can see in the starting of your video you are moving your arrow and the lines are being highlighted on which the arrow is passing by.
i want any such type of highlighter to study PDF to see the particular line highlighted meanwhile i may jump to next line with mouse and that will higlight then.
If possible, Kindly help.
Is it possible to draw in zotero and create a image of your draw?
Great vid. Thank you.
Thanks! I am so glad you liked it!
Hi Alana (Don Salmon here - I responded to an article of yours on Medium). Sorry to write here but I couldn't find a way to write you privately on Medium. I wanted to thank you for clarifying that comment from Sarah Cordiner. I'll leave it at that:>)
Actually, I do have a science question. I'm going to start making a series of videos on the foundations of science. I have a doctorate in clinical psychology, but have VERY little experience in the hard sciences. I just want to find kid level physics or chemistry experiments, and it's been remarkably hard to find some good examples on line. Do you have any videos or writings or suggestions? I want a experiment simple enough that I can show people how physicists abstract measurements from what is basically our sensory experience, and then philosophers come alone and make claims about what is "real" based on that. Not sure if that makes any sense, so I'll just say again - I'd love it if you have any videos on simple chemistry experiments for kids, or could make some suggestions for writings or videos to help with this.
Thanks so much!
I do not have any examples of this. But I know Action Lab is a channel that does similar types of videos to what you are talking about. I hope that helps!
