Omg Tina! Aria has gotten so big 😍and cute 🥰. I remember her baby pictures when she was only a few months. Love ❤️ the quality of the video. Peace and one love 🇯🇲
Hellshire - I so miss it. Been going from a child - Port Henderson Best of everything - fried fish, steamed fish, conch soup (my favourite), roast fish, baked crab, etc😋😋
A long overdue video, 👍 That whole scenery of that beach and cuisine took me way back before the beach erosion and the now overcrowded Hellshire. Nice video, thanks.
thank you for patiently waiting. Yes it is a bit sad to see how hellshire has changed over the past 30 years. I remember when the sand was so far out and vans would park on the sand and you can ride horses.
@@EatWithTinaChai yes, every time I visit Hellshire it saddens me because I know what was there before. All the sand dunes, trees and other vegetation. How at one time you could walk out for many yards into the sea and the water would still be only knee deep with and seeing the many fishes jump out and back into the water. My dad used to take us there several mornings in the wee hours during the week before going to school and also on the weekends. I prefer going to Fort Clarence now whenever I am in Jamaica. But I still enjoy the nostalgia with friends and family who share similar memories.
@@rickflint3710 Yea i'm in NY - and it's only in recent years I realize how much money NY spends to replenish the sand on the beaches here on Long Island. I never thought about those things. Florida spends huge money too. Many people don't know they even buy sand from The Bahamas and have it sent to Florida.
I miss Hellshire Beach and the fried fish and festival! That all looked so good! But it's sad that's their still catching the parrot fish as they're wiping out the population. They're not supposed to... I guess what to do.. You're making my mout watah. Yuh dawta chweet.
I hope you can visit soon! I told him that is not good to sell the parrot fish and explained it to him as well and as you can see the sand is basically gone. But he said the customers are the ones requesting the fish but he has to educate them as well. Thank you so much for watching :). Come to Jamaica and we can go on a food tour/adventure!
I love Love LOVE Hellshire beach. One our family's favourite beache experience, however, being from Canada, I couldn't get there unless I was down there. Luckily, during the early/mid 80s my sister and brother In law turn us on Sandbanks (east towards Belleville) It's not Hellshire, but when you're in Toronto... 😁 ...a couple hours drive was worth it for the Hellshire feel.👍🏾
@@EatWithTinaChai 😊 Wonderful, however keep in mind, the "80s" is (now) 40 years ago... and it's no longer our family secret. 😄 lol It may be busy/crowded nowadays, so tell your cousins to get there EARLY in the morning if they want a choice spot. 😉 Blessings 👍🏾🙏🏾👊🏾
Thank you so much for watching! Unfortunately I dont at the moment. May be I could in the future. But you can message me on instagram. I can also suggest a few places depending where you go 😀
Hands down the best conch I've ever had was in Happy Grove, Portland. This guy across from a football field did roast conch on the weekends and still many years later, nothing has beaten it for me. I hope he still there and I'll hopefully film one day.
Hello there greetings from Indonesia ✌🏻btw I'm curious and may I ask about what food is that on the 7:50 minutes and is taste so good like Aria's said 🙏 thank in advance
Indonesia! The Gem in the far east that I am dying to visit! Hi there Kimi, it's called festival in Jamaica. Every culture has their version of a fried dough, this is our most iconic one
@@EatWithTinaChai let's go visit Indonesia then 🙏 btw in Indonesia have the same food called "Cakwe" it's from Chinese traditional cooking called "Yaotiao / Yu char kway". I'm asking to you what it is coz I thought it's has the same stories like Cakwe in Indonesia and we used eat the Cakwe as snacks or toppings 🙏
It depends on what you buy but we went multiple trips. Fish is usually $1500/lb more or less depending which restaurant you go to. I am not sure about the lobster since I dont eat it. But each person is about $2000-$3000 depending the size of the fish, festival and drinks.
Bum bo. . . Look how much parrot fish the man have!!!! No matter how much them tell you bout the parrot fish, you guys still a fish them and the other a buy them. That why you a loose your beach!!!!if you don't understand Google parrot fish.
I told the restaurant owner as well, and he said it is not him. But if you dont sell parrot then people wont be able to eat parrot. It is sad but the fishermen dont care and they just fish for whatever fish they can find.
The videos are great but the panned music is horrible and it's so bad I stop watching. Stop the background repetitive music it destroys your good videos.
Mi love fi see natural Jamaican people dem come in different color ❤️❤️
Nuh true!

Thank you so much for watching!
Beautiful videography.
Such a rich array of images. Just seeing the food and hearing the sizzling and chopping is enough for the senses.
Thank you so much! Blessings
Fried fish and festival is my favorite thing to eat at Elsia
Omg it is amazing! there is no one else who can make this festival.

Do your grandfather enjoy his trips back to Jamaica? Watching you from Cleveland, Ohio USA.
He does! But he hasnt been in a couple years now since he is old. It is hard for him to travel
Lobster looks good! Wonder what the cost comparison was to our Las Vegas lobster video. You definitely got better scenery than we did.
The ENTIRE bill was less than $100USD. Your videos always make me hungry and I can't wait to go to Arizona and Las Vegas!
Great video but its given me an insatiable craving for fresh seafood which I can't get from where I am!!!
Thank you so much for watching! I hope you can get some seafood soon :)
