I lost 2 beloved family members in 2021. My grief still comes in waves I have good days and bad days. My heart goes out to them hope they can heal especially their differences.
There is a lot to address their grief on national TV. And grief comes in waves and layers. It’s always there until it gets a little easier but never really easy!
Michael Braxton JR and his awfully abusive home life for his children. Poor Lauren didn't stand a chance against her evil stepmom who abused the hell out of the black children versus her light skinned kids
In the episode where Kevin jr had to leave it’s crazy when Towanda called him he said that Olivia had a warrant on him. Olivia been mess all the time . Even at Trina wedding she lied and said how Tamar and the sisters was laughing at her when Traci was singing with her father , and it wasn’t even so and it was just to get Traci so upset . Olivia was lying on them . Kevin need to leave Olivia .
I remember meeting Traci and her husband multiple times here in the DMV and she was really a true gem. Sweet, down to earth, funny. Watching this episode was hard to watch, but I’m glad that they’re doing it for the fans.
Tamar has been on Atleast 7 reality shows now (that I know of). The Braxtons twice, Tamar & Vince, her own reality show, big brother, the queens court dating one, and college hill. In some form or fashion most of them have centered around her or ended up being that way, so I do not think she will accept any ensemble cast housewives offer because she wants to be the star. Where she may feel ignored in her own family she gets to shine on tv.
It was very touching. Tamar was quite subdued in the first episode. Feeling so sad for her son. I'm guessing that big Kevin may still harbor ill feelings about Traci's issues with how her sisters treated her. I remember issues during her funeral. Praying for healing for the entire family.
I was disappointed to see there still hasn’t been any growth with the sisters. I don’t want to see the same Braxtons Family values as previous seasons. They are adults that still have no communication skills. It’s great to watch the funny moments but it’s sad to see so many unspoken issues.
@@danadane2575 many do not know how to effectively communicate. As well as one do communicate one must able to effectively listen and receive the message without being offended. Communication is very vast and challenging.
@@ohanaohana8844 It's not a Black family issue. If you can't recognize that White people, Hispanic people, Indian people ALL have issues communicating based on cultural norms, man made traditions, trauma, etc than you haven't lived long enough nor do you have any friends outside of Black people.
None of them dragged Tracy. I just think Tracy and Tamar had the worst relationship of them all. As Trina pointed out, they just have different relationships with each other which is common in families. And I would rate the season opener 10/10. I love how Toni is showing her vulnerability. The oldest sibling tend to be the next parent and be strong for the younger siblings.
Everybody is grieving in someway and honestly we all need this journey I was crying 5 minutes in….we can cry, laugh, drink, and feel good all at one time
As a fan of the show and the spin-off with Tamar I am happy they are coming back to share what happened with Tracy. It ended on a sour note and this feels like a nice way to give fans the insight without having them make their own stories up about Tracy. I enjoyed it but you can tell the family has even more tension than they had before
It was a little hard to watch but it was good seeing them again and all the memories. I used to love how the they'd make up songs and harmonize when they got together. My favorite was, "Dear Dog" and when they sang, "God Put a Rainbow in the Sky" on their porch steps. Traci is missed 🕊️💛
I love conversations like this where you can hear different perspectives and I love how the lady brought up what Toni has been doing before the tour of 15 months I can say she was dealing with partnerships I remember last year she was a brand ambassador for the get uncomfortable campaign that was dealing with lupus, kidney health , and she was doing talk shows and making special appearances and also she has that deal with lifetime when she’s in movies as well as producing Movies for lifetime
Replay from Southern California. I would rate the Braxton’s 7-10. It was sad but very heartwarming. I never watched the show previously but I will be watching in the future. Thanks Kempire for reviewing this and condolences for your sister. 💐🪷🧘🏾♀️
The one caller clearly doesn’t know how reality tv works lol. Saying you cringed because they broke the fourth wall. Whether they show that or not that’s what’s happening. They aren’t being secretly film by hidden cameras. There’s a whole production going on to film the show. Reality shows break the fourth wall to show how “real” it is bts.
I see a lot of Fans of the show saying they treated Tracey bad but we don’t get to see what goes on behind the cameras when they are off because you can definitely tell they loved there sister even though they had some disagreements.
As Tamar being the baby, she needs to question herself what can she learn from her sisters to grow and be better cause she's a beautiful person but her pain is spewing in a horrible way
Towanda was on Starting Over (and Tamar came to visit on an episode). Toni had cameras following her for Inside Out (and Tamar had dinner with her in a scene).
I can't with Tamar. It's always something with her. However, Tamar is funny and cool at times. If only she could see that, in my opinion she would have less drama.
Replay Crew here ! Responding to the caller proposing Tamar being on RHOA: I think it would have been a fantastic idea during the initial conception of the RHOA. If she and Nene started season 1 together, I think they would have either evolved to be besties on show or frenemies. They would have been equally matched ego wise because they both would have been working on establishing their brands. I took an interest in Towanda when she did this brief reality TV retreat with Iyanla, and she was trying to make a name for herself out of Toni's shadow. This was years ago. It would have been nice to see Tamar outside of the Braxton sister setting
Tamar wouldn’t be liked on any show. There’s a difference in reading your sisters, meaning people you know, she knows their triggers, she grew up with them. Tamar is sensitive tho, she wouldn’t do housewives because she can’t take it and she’s really not about that life. She’s been on some other reality shows Big Brother with Kandi and even on there she was crying a lot because of the arguments. Her lashing out at her sisters is just a bit different than what she would have to do on housewives. Here’s the thing tho, Tamar is a Sanger unfortunately reality tv is what made her but her music is phenomenal. She should have way more albums out but she does get in her way. Instead of reality tv she should be focused on her music.
Great recap! I enjoyed the first episode. I thought it was sweet and touching. (Towanda is an actress and was recently on the Lifetime movie The Rise and Fall of Miss Cleo. It was really good. She played the angry mom of a girl who ran up large bills calling Miss Cleo.) I got off of X when it was bought by Elon Musk so as long as Tamar keeps her craziness on X I don’t care because I don’t have to see it. I’m hoping that type of craziness is not on the show, and it wasn’t on the first episode, and I liked that.
Thank you. While we know time allows us to move forward, we still remember whatbwe saw viewers. To be honest sometimes I feel like all that pain Traci had is what contributed to her cancer. Kempire trying to shut those feelings and opinions down is lame.
Tamar wished Tracy death. So her evil mouth killed her own sister and Evelyn’s resentment towards Traci for choosing to stay with her dad after the divorce. Tamar and Evelyn’s evil tongues killed Tracy. Period!!! There’s power in the tongue!
I personally think it was Tawanda who said Traci was die to her bc she said she was on a 3 way call with Trina and Tawanda and I don’t think Trina would say that
The money talk about Toni really irked me. Toni has been around for over 30 years, she shouldn’t have to be working unless she wants to at this point. Toni’s music is still popular, getting sampled and everything. There’s definitely alot of money in music besides touring. Sometimes I feel like we look at celebs like they’re on our level of having to work. Usually their houses are paid off, cars paid off. They’re living in a totally different tax bracket and if she needs to down size for a moment that’s not gonna look like a one bedroom apartment. 😅😂 I didn’t like the money comment at all, mind your business.
Why would Tamar be a cast member on Housewives when she is an Executive Producer on a show? The math doesn't math. She makes money from the Braxtons show even when she isn't there.
Traci had demons and insecurities which were worsened when she got pregnant and couldn’t partake of the opportunity her sisters got to be a part of. That stayed with her for years. I think she made herself ill with all she was holding onto. Aside from the grief of those who love her, I am glad she can be at peace. I truly wish people would stop talking about how she was “mistreated.” She wasn’t. The only things people can point to is Tamar making a comment about her “weight.” Everything else is just normal sibling and family stuff and normal reactions to someone who had their own feelings of inadequacy and acted out because of it. People have just bought into the myth but don’t give any legitimate examples of how she was in any way ostracized from the rest of the family. This show isn’t them “doing right by Traci.” They never “did wrong by her.”
They all are guilty of mistreating each other. I think maybe they didn't give Traci the empathy she craved. However, I dont know if she was able to take full accountability for her decisions that resulted in her not being in the group. There is a lot of dysfunction among the sisters. Toni said if they weren't her sisters, she wouldn't be friends with them. That's a knife to the heart because she's saying she really doesn't like them.
@@Tess-v2i What? Toni has more texture and soul to her voice. Tamar is good but she yells and sing. The girl can sing. However, the two sisters have their own style which makes it beautiful.
