A little pricey for a small-time young guy running solo like me nor do I go through more than 100 tonnes of product in a year, but totally would make sense for the big time neighbour down the road with 5 times the acres I have, or fertilizer plants and the like. Pretty cool unit, but I guess I'll have to just put up with the odd clump and dragging the hopper screens around.

All that gotta do now is make one of their hoppers with the lump busted intgrated so its all one unit

Seems a bit expensive, but then again it's really not intended for a small farmer. A big operation that handles enough fertilizer should love this. Nice looking Big Bud and IH loader tractor in the background

Agreed. I seldom go through more than 100 tonnes of fertilizer in a year. Small farmer and working solo most of the time and work off farm a bit too so couldn't justify buying one. I can deal with the odd clump and dragging the hopper screens around for the time being. I caught the Big Bud in the back too. I actually never seen one in person before. Run a Versatile 976 myself. Run my 40' double shoot Morris drill and 50' Degelman heavy harrows with it. Have a tricky time finding parts for it sometimes, couldn't imagine trying to find parts for a Big Bud, in these parts anyway.

A skid steer mount for this would be useful for busting clumpy buckets

Is there a plan to make a unit for a swing out auger? Has this been used with feed grain?

A 12 volt motor with alligator clamps would be handy.

The real question is, why is this recommended?

Neptune just run it for a bit to get the other grain out and you are ready for fertilizer

Sure. Run it until empty. Then reverse the auger. Blow out the fertilizer dust with air and spray a bit of WD-40 in the swing auger hopper. Give the bearings a good shot of grease and good to go. My 1370 swing auger and one 8" auger I only use for grain, but use my 1060 swing auger and older 8" for grain and/or fertilizer and no issues.

I thought this video was going to show a cow poop pulverizer. Real fertilizer.

I'd really like to know what kind of bearing that is. It would be great for a salt spreader.
