Sikil Gurusaran always gives more tamil Kirtis. All the songs were enjoyable. Finishing piece about Devi Sivakami was very apt. For the end. Also I have enjoyed his Nandanar songs. Super concert. 👏👏👏👏👏

Thank you for another beautiful rendition. Listening to Tamil songs gives double happiness as could understand the meaning while immersing in the raga. However somehow ‘chandrachooda’ attracted me more than the others. Heard the thevaram தோடுடைய செவியன் - I am used to hear this sung by ஓதுவார், but not on a classical stage concert. Good to know that you are a Coffee lover. If you visit Perth again, can do a காபிமாலிகை with different types of காபி (short blank, long black, macchiato, latte, flat white, cappuccino, etc) for you at my cafe. Thank you again.

Saw the concert !! He’s my favorite singer !! My idol my everything in Carnatic Music !! He explains everything in a precise way !! The coffee song tuned in the raga Kaapi !! Such an amazing rendition !! And Chandrachooda Siva Sankara Parvati is my favorite Purandaradasa Kriti tuned in my favorite raga Darbhari Kanada..Thought to see him in live for the first time!! Finally saw him in another concert !! Bravo and Kudos to the entire team !! ❤❤

in late 1970s. and 1980---- i. attended few concerts (flute ) of Sikkil sisters. now a days i view sikkil Gurucharan's concerts now and then sitting at home . i am concious of his effort to uplift the classical music to higher levels....i wish him great success. for his efforts😃😃😃

Superb concert. I have only heard the ragamalika version of the krithi Chandrachooda. This version by Sri Gurucharan was extraordinary. I also thoroughly enjoyed that delightful song on coffee.

minor quibble: Vidwan Vittal is executing "aggressive accompaniment" with the violin - as if he is cramming for an exam in the very next hour. He could have held back a little on the accompaniment, especially during the rendition of the Kruti, so we could enjoy the poetry of the composition a bit more.
