I am with you! My favorite is kettle chips hot chilli. NOT the sickly sweet chilli and sour cream! They are THE BEST. But I am only allowed to buy them on special. Otherwise I would live on them.
Go to your local Indian store. There are plenty of snacks that are spicy. And trust me if you are not used to it you will probably only be able to handle a few bites!
My hat is off to these truly courageous and inspiring ladies. Because of watching this and TPT, I now say yes whenever someone offers me a new food- no matter whether it sounds horrible to me or not.
For those wondering what Salted Egg Chips taste like, I would describe it as similar in flavor to what egg yolk tastes like after it's been hard-boiled. Hold the memory of that flavor in your mind, then imagine it as a layer of coating on a potato chip or on deep-fried fish skin (the fish chips in this video were also salted egg flavor). It's not bad. I do like these chips, but the added egg also seems to make the chips far more expensive than regular chips. Totally worth a try.
I have tried the fish skin chips they said it was salty I was not satisfied at all and I dumped at least 1/4 of salt into a big bag of those things just to make it salty it tasted OK then just not like the greatest
The ladies were underwhelmed by these chips! Interesting how one says it's sugary and another says the same chip is spicy. Some said it tasted strongly of egg and others said it didn't. We all perceive taste differently.
@ElyseHFM I know, right? That cracked me up! She's probably the most "reactive" taster on this channel. 😂 She always calls it exactly as she sees it. There's no messing around for her. I love how she made a point of saying that they must be made with "stale" fish. 🐟 hahaha
