    @17:05 you're right about Modern Masterpiece not being weatherproof...as my Sims found out one winter. 😂 I absolutely love the changes you made to all of these, but especially Modern Masterpiece. It looks so much better without too many alterations to the original design. Very clever!

    • @AniBats

      Haha so my suspicions were right! Those walls connecting to the roof pieces really looked shifty 🤭 Thank you so much, Tyra ❤

    Alpine windows on the modern masterpiece, yes please! Looks so good.
    I love with all of these houses just the difference that landscaping makes. Especially on the Modern Masterpiece - the difference from a huge plain yard to something a little more put together, so huge!!
    Well done, really love these videos, looking forward to your next 3!

      Thank you, Beth 🥰The garden can really make a huge difference! I rarely paid much attention to landscaping in the past but once you see it, you can't really unsee it. Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed them and that you'd be up for more ❤

    It's nice to watch the bin houses being renovated. The third build is certainly a tough one, but I like what you did with it and how it turned out in the end. You did a wonderful job! 👍🏻
    P.S. Whenever I watch your speed build videos, I'm like "Oooh, I need this piece of CC in my game" *instantly googles*. 😆

      Thank you so much, Alex 🥰❤ Haha I do that too watching other people! For these houses, if you saw something you'd be interested in, you could simply download the zip files I put up for download. I included a full list of the cc and where to find it.

    Wow Ani these renovations were mindblowing to me! 🤩
    As said multiple times before, you did AMAZING with all of them, but the modern masterpiece was next level to me! Thats perfection! Also you solved that issue with the roof so clever!
    I experienced the same issue when playing on this lot a while ago, but had no idea how to properly fix it.
    Cant wait for the next videos coming up.

    Amazing transformations😍 well done👏 I don't think I've ever put a sun-room in The Sims but they're really common where I'm from too so I really should! It turned out beautifully. I can't believe you made the Modern Masterpiece work...impressive. I could actually see it working in Downtown too, maybe with the sides of the lot trimmed off with lot adjuster for a more urban land size.

    • @AniBats

    It's so nice that you've made these available for download again! There's also so much cool custom content in there. Some walls and floors I tried to find, but couldn't. And I always struggle finding good stones and bushes to decorate with, so I will definitely be using those. Thank you so much! ❤
    All of the renovations look awesome as always, so beautiful. 😍 That sun room is one of my favorite features of the builds, I love sun rooms. The alpine set on the modern masterpiece fits so perfectly! 🤯😍 It's like it was made for that house! And you've really done wonders to the build. It looks amazing with the garden and really does look like an architect designed it. Really cool!

    Ahhh! Ani what can’t you build??! I am so amazed on your work on the third house, not going to lie I was a little skeptical that it would have worked but you have proved me wrong! I can totally see a minimalist living in the third house. A painter, yoga instructor maybe 🤔 definitely someone who has a sand garden they meticulously keep up with for the sake of “relaxation “ can’t wait to see all 3 houses in use ❤

    I have to say I was NOT expecting the last house to turn out soooo good! It looks amazing and it also feels that it could fit in Pleasantview with no problem at all 😊I loved all of the end results, I think the second one was my favorite! I just love how you manage to maintain most of the original house essence (if not all of it, to be honest), and at the same time add your own style onto them. Your landscaping is always the part I enjoy watching the most, together with the decorating! Oh and also, there is something very peaceful about having the chill music in the background while you speak at the same time, it is not overly powerful and just the perfect volume I think. Did you ever think about trying to implement something similar while you are playing too? I'm so excited to see who is going to live in these houses one day, looking forward to the decorating process! Thank you so much for all the videos you have been uploading!!

      Aw thank you so much, Mar 🥰❤ Thanks for the feedback on the volume, that's great to know it works well and doesn't disrupt the voiceover - I've really had to trial and errored my way through that one haha 😅 Adding music to my let's plays would add on too much work and I'm not sure if it would give the effect I'm after. But thank you for the suggestion, I really appreciate it! ❤

    Wow, I thought that the 2nd one would be my favorite one, but what you did with the modern build quickly changed that, ahah 😅
    I don't think I've seen many builds like that anywhere, it's very refreshing to see a modern style of building. It gave me sort of Asian vibes a bit, and part of me wanted to see you plop a zen garden somewhere there as well (the roof, maybe?) but I still adore the final result as is. Awesome work!

      @@AniBats aww thank you for the lovely reply. They were awesome just as I expected! It seems like you are pretty speedy now at renovations. Did that just come with time or do you have any tips specifically? Don't worry if you haven't got the time to reply, I know you are busy. I wonder if I could ask you though about the wallpapers you mentioned. Were they from someone called Paisley Avenue? Thank you in advance. I hope you are keeping well and have a great day.

    • @AniBats
      @AniBats  7 месяцев назад +1

      I think it's come with time, but as a general rule, trust your gut. There has been so many times when I have been dreading starting to renovate or build something, but once I actually sit down to do it, it's not at all as difficult as I made it out to be. Something that has helped me is looking at the build from a logical angle. As in: try to keep in mind how the sims will move around the lot and stuff will fall into place naturally. For one thing, I always want to use cars if I can, so there must be at least one parking space. Then, the sims need to have a natural way to walk into the house from that parking space, but also from the main road. If the house has two or more stories, there needs to be a quick and natural way for them to walk up/downstairs - which almost always makes me put the staircases close to the front door. Kitchen are normally on the ground floor wheras bedrooms are normally upstairs. Keeping those kinds of things in mind while building helps the brain process things quicker, I think. I hope that helps ❤
      Yeah, I adore Paisley Avenue! A lot of the wallpapers I use are from Tumblr: paisleyavenueredux.tumblr.com/. But also, there are quite a bit of old stuff that you can find here: www.dropbox.com/sh/rmtga1840yzuwv3/AAC6LdGPNMfkXiagOU1VX6r0a?dl=0
      And here: www.mediafire.com/folder/jehibim2g6c8a/SIMS_2_RECOLORS
      Thank you, Emily, I'm doing really well. I hope you are as well and that you are having a lovely day too ❤

    Hey, I see these renovations are available for download, is there any reason why your custom hoods (for ex. Downtown) are not available? Just wondering thanks :)

    • @AniBats
      @AniBats  7 месяцев назад

      I work full time, so I have to be picky with what I spend my free time on. Since making the videos is my creative outlet, it's what I will prioritize. Adding anything on top of that is just extra and something I do very rarely when I feel up for it. Just making these three unfurnished houses available for download, sorting through the cc and giving the creators proper credit, took me about 8 hours. Making an entire hood available would take far far longer with the amount of CC I use 😅

    ani, can i ask what your setup is for playing? i remember watching a simmer recently who said they run the game on a partitioned mac and i can’t remember if it was you or not :p

    • @AniBats
      @AniBats  7 месяцев назад

      I have a pc running windows 10. 16 GB RAM, Graphics card: 4095 MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980. If I've understood things correctly, it's not recommended to run the game on a mac if you can avoid it. April Black went through the issues in one of her videos - sorry I don't recall which one. It could have been the one on corruption perhaps 🤔 Something about mac being able to handle less files so there's a risk of sims disappearing if they become too many, I think.
