Yvonne's song sounds so intimate. That breathy but tonally strong voice, with the musicality of certain phrases being controlled masterfully. Though the control of those phrases is in part a result of some production work, I'm very impressed that she gave them such a strong base to work with.
Scarra's Santa Baby is unironically my favourite. Followed by Jodi's Hey Santa and Yvonne's Underneath the Tree. But I love how softly and comfortingly he sings Santa Baby. These two are great vloggers and comfort streamers so it comes across in the singing but their voices bring something new to the song entirely, like a secret hidden move that the chill character suddenly pulls out. Truly satisfyingly unique. Their voices showcase a certain deep appreciation for life.
You guys know there's a good bit of autotune on this entire album, right? I know we're all about encouragement, positivity and whatever but you gotta call a spade a spade sometimes. Don't get me wrong, I definitely enjoyed this... but the majority of them have no business stepping inside a studio again.

I love this rendition of underneath the tree. This fits the lyrics more imo. To top it it off yvonne has the most beautiful voice for it. Its my favorite on the tracklist and imo it trancends the circle of "youtuber music". Perfection.
Not even lying, Scarra's way of emphasizing certain words actually gave me chills. No wonder they said that he basically got it in one take. I didn't see the vision when it was just his voice in the recording room, but his singing just goes so well with the music.

I love this rendition of underneath the tree. This fits the lyrics more imo. To top it it off yvonne has the most beautiful voice for it. Its my favorite on the tracklist and imo it trancends the circle of "youtuber music". Perfection.

Not even lying, Scarra's way of emphasizing certain words actually gave me chills. No wonder they said that he basically got it in one take. I didn't see the vision when it was just his voice in the recording room, but his singing just goes so well with the music.
I have been a fan of OTV since 2020, it started with the OG among us crew. Now i am a full fledged fan of each individual in this content group. They really do give great content, variation, and i believe this time they’ve outdone themselves again. Really happy to hear this christmas album, will be listening to it for the next few years.
