Signal: Alert
Location: Madison County, KY
August and I have been rather Madison Countypilled lately and this is something we wanted to do, so once the opportunity presented itself we took it. The Pinnacles are located in Berea, KY and offer incredible vistas in pretty much every direction, as well as views of several Madison County CSEPP siren sites. We chose to set up at the top of a trail where the view was wide open to our north, with practically all of Madison County (and others) laid out in front of us. Featured in this video are the sirens that we were able to find with our cameras, though I'm sure there are more you can see; in fact, I didn't realize the "~7 mile" siren was in my shot until I got home and looked at the footage. Anyways, enjoy!
Madison County sirens are tested on the first Saturday of each month at noon.
Originally recorded 11/4/23.
Awesome video! Berea has a special place in my heart, as that's where my grandmother on my dad's side lived. The house she lived in is less than 3 miles from where this was filmed, and I feel like it might even be visible from there if you're looking in just the right spot. Interestingly enough, I never knew there were so many T-128s near where she lived, unless these were recently installed.
These were installed countywide to replace the Whelens.
@@4J25I saw that on the maps i wonder why they replaced the Whalen sirens
Nice Ambience
Nice catch
Every time I have a failed Madison county test 4j always beats me back at it.
I still need to get around to recording one of the clarity hyper speakers lol
Hey 4j25 Awesome 😎Shot Of The American Signal T-128s Also In Street View Those American Signal T-128s Replaced A Whelen WPS-2904
Ah the T-128s are online then! Awesome.
I'm not very well-versed in the ASC systems, but I wonder what frequency they activate the sirens on? I wasn't able to find a frequency in the FCC Database tied to the sirens, rather the old Whelen system, which no longer works as there is no traffic anymore like it used to.
This is really cool
Nice zoom lense I wonder what the s23 ultra is capable of in these situations
What time do they go off?
You've got to go to the siren at Gethsemane Baptist Church. The siren there, and is practically at eye level. I have a video on my channel.
We've filmed the Whelen there, need to check out the 128 sometime.
