Best Korean American youtuber on this platform. Your Korean's actually pretty good 😭 Repping South Korea frfr 🇰🇷✊🏻Your 할머니 making sure your drip stays alive
So my sister-in-law is from Canada, and she told me that most second generation korean don’t speak Han Gul. I find that wild because I don’t really know any Koreans in the states that don’t speak it unless they’re adopted. I think it’s impossible to not learn English if you go to grade school in the states, so it’s best to speak korean at home. Plus the church in the US has become a center for the community, so the culture stays strong.
I'm full Korean but born and raised in Australia. Over time I've only grown more and more distant from the culture of my family. I can't even see myself as a part of it. I last visited maybe 10 years ago and honestly going back is one of my biggest fears - I feel like I weirdly belong to both cultures but none sometimes. I wish I could be as comfortable in my own skin and identity as Edward here. Sorry for the depresso comment but I've never found an avenue where I felt these feelings of mine were relevant
We koreans always welcoming u. Ur our 동포. Koreans look so cold to strangers on the street but they will treat u friendly once u feel comfortable talking u them. Never forget kimchi power in ur vein
What ur describing happens to mexican american ppl too! And latino Americans in general! Theres a saying “ni de aquí o allá” - not from here or there - ur not the only one who feels like this and the dual culture and experiences are truly what makes us cool and special!
The blood is ur body is Korean Maybe you were born and raised in Australia But the Make up of your mind body soul are Korean based 🙏🏾 God bless you my brother
Surprised I actually watched the whole thing. Commentary is great, and I like how your mom brought you guys to the folk village. Korea has an interesting, turbulent history.
I very very rarely comment on RUclips, but needed to show some love and say I love the content man, really showing the world what being Korean-American is all about 🔥🔥 made me miss Seoul a ton Keep killing it dawg
I'm not even Korean but I love that you can speak Korean well. Too many people go to America and forget about their culture and not even be able to speak their own language! Hope you'll upload some more long form content like this!
I hope you don't judge them too harshly, a lot of immigrant parents work day and night and the kids are mostly left to raise themselves in a new country. I grew up in an environment where my mom could be with my bro and me after school and she laid down strict ground rules so that we as children would never forget our culture and she trained us further in how to speak, read, and write in our language. But that in itself is a privilege that a lot of immigrant kids do not have,. and they may have to put in more effort to get in touch with their cultural roots when they're grown. everyone comes from different places in life, it's so easy to look down on someone and think we're superior because of this and that.,, but that is not a good way of thinking...
It’s one thing to film, but it’s another thing to talks throughout and keeping the film interesting. The way you’re building the video is very informative and keeps everyone interested. Keep grinding big man
really good vlog dude, I usually just watch your shorts but this one ended up on my feed and it's really good. the part where you showed the village was especially pretty cool, with you talking about how back in the day there would be people living there and using those buildings (maybe that's just because I'm a history nerd). either way keep it up you're doing a great job at showing people what your home country looks like and what the culture there is like.
I never comment on anything but just wanted to say how much I loved this video. I watch all your shorts and I love them too but this video is really good man. Keep it up
Man, subscribed just yesterday. I haven't been to Korea since Summer, August 2016! Great vlog bro! Great content and way to rep the KOREAN AMERICANS bro!!
10/10 Travel video 🔥🔥 I really enjoyed this video. You were very detailed in explaining everything. I appreciate it this. Thank you. It’s definitely inspiring seeing another culture that I will visit one day.
I really like this vlog. You showed the ‘province village’ as well. First thing I’ll do if I ever visit Korea is to hit up all the food too! That charcuterie board looked amazing 😻 The no app delivery drivers though must be an honest service. Great vid! ✌️
i respect the grind. It must have been hard to play a South Korean character. Bro is really inspired he even went there and learned the language! Inspirational for real man.
at times I haven’t been filming as much just cause I’m trying to be in the moment and not be focused on doing stuff for content but I’ll def keep ur comment in mind to add more 💪🏼
Boiiiii...All that looked dope as fuck. Wow...The food/drinks, phenomenal. One of the best vids I've seen. Never forget your roots. Appreciate it. Thanks bro.
I’m curious to know how much you enjoyed making this content. Dope to see your personality making this content, no disrespect to the other travel vloggers but it was just refreshing
really enjoyed ur vlog bro. 1 feedback i have is maybe use slower lofi beats for background the fast beat making it hard to relax 😅, n maybe try and link two different part of the vlog with an intro n outro to make it flow better cuz it feels too erratic atm imo. other that that Keep it up bro, ill keep supporting 👌👍
Bro this is amazing thank you for genuinely sharing your experience. I have become a fan in the beginning of 2020 when the pandemic hit and your shorts/videos have helped me a lot and make me chuckle. Appreciate you mane!
Super proud of him. He grew up with an abusive father and grew up very poor. To see his wine bar for the first time in person made me so proud. I know this is random but seeing ur comment just reminded me of how proud of him I am❤️
@@EdwardSo that's what we gotta do, translate our come up into something greater. You said he performs too? That'll be something cool too see as well. Looking forward to the other parts.
even when hes speaking normally, it sounds like hes playing a character in one of his skits 😂 much love, enjoy the rest of the trip 😁
I feel that 😂

Facts bruh. It just get deeper and deeper ha
thats what I said man lmaoo

This is exactly how I feel too I’m not even Korean but as a fellow American with immigrant parents the language is important part of our cultures
He kinda illiterate though, but not bad when speaking.
