@@simonpantera It is not meant to be mean in any way. He committed suicide. Knowing that, we can reasonably assume that he was feeling miserable inside. It is just a sad fact.
It's a common misconception. Many high ranking sensei still thinks a mix of tai-otoshi and seoi-nage becomes seoi-otoshi, which is a completely different technique. It's probably from a book somewhere, and is carried on. He actually shows seoi-otoshi, seoi-nage and tai-otoshi at different times in this video. Rest in peace good sir. Thank you for such amazing Judo
Seeing that video, how could you tell he was so miserable inside?
That's not a very nice thing to say about someone you don't know.

R.I.P
This is a body movement in Daito Ryu Aikijujutsu interesting. Nice 👍
It looks like Morote Seoi otoshi, but not sure. Can someone explain it please?
It looks more like Tai Otoshi rather than Seoi Otoshi. Please correct me if I am wrong.

It IS a seoi otoshi because first, his kumi kata is that of seoi nage and second, he drops on his knee.
It is not seoi-otoshi.
I really don't care what it is called - I like it. It is a drop and it uses the shoulder so the name works for me.
@Popeyes do you always fight at the nude resort?
its whatever craig says
He was a good lad. Good fun apart from the Judo.
