as someone who is INCREDIBLY mentally ill I just ADORE the part where Kieran slowly goes insane, manifesting his pent-up rage and hatred towards his sister, who always shunned him and ridiculed him for just trying to speak and spread his interest in the Orge, among other things he’s interested in.
