    I work for a company that deals with military and government surplus electronics equipment. We scrap used boards all the time and often get lots of new unused parts and equipment. I'm always looking for new projects to build or create. Are there any types of boards, power supply units or parts that you use often or might be looking for? Maybe I can send some your way.

    You are recycling E-Waste. WELL DONE. YOU ARE SHOWING HOW TO MANAGE E-Waste. One commented that thus guy is using disposable battery. I will comment that from the balance JUICE of that battery is used for other purpose. I guess He uses only second hand (used) products. a BIG salute for him, for recycling the E waste on Earth...

    Bro for the love of anything please talk in your video's, explain what you're doing and why. I love this content, I completely disassembled two old monitors last night and made a light board but I won't wantch videos with only music and I can't be the only one. I want to learn why something works not some quick run through that probably has parts I don't understand.,

      I think they were just editing for simplicity and time. So we don't have to sit through watching them de-solder everything. From what I can tell, these circuits were fine.

    Neat. Does the transformer boost 1.5v to 110/220v?

      12 vlots from lead-acid battery, two windings in the transformer, one winding has more turns than the other, the difference in number of turns between the two gives us the new voltage.
      But remember, the higher you bring the voltage, the lower the amps will be. And the higher you bring the Amps, the lower the Voltage will be. { Current(Amps) multiplied by Voltage = Power(Watts) } or {Watts divided by Current = Voltage}
      EDIT: this formula should work for all these transformer projects. For further detail, we would look at the data sheets of the specific mosfets involved.
      Edit: The LED lights don't use 110volts, the original circuits take the 110vAC and turn it into a much lower Voltage DC. So when he is using batteries to light them, he doesn't need to get it to 100+volts, just the ( fV ), or “forward voltage” of the LEDs.
      Would be glad to answer any questions that I am able to. If I see a reply from you I will do my best to get back to you with answers.

      @@andreav.3835 don't be ridiculous I have known how to solder for over 60 years, have designed circuit boards for over 50 years including professionally. WHY do I need to watch someone just solder stuff or put it together without even a basic schematic? Crap! Simple as!

      I use 110 /@ 50-60Hz here, but I think in this video it was 220volts, so it would be the standard of that protocol.
      I am not part of the making of the video, so I don't know for sure, but I would use those numbers in my own calculations.
