Cool lights, I have older Rigids without the backlight, might have to upgrade.
Why would anybody get the radiance?? Overall both versions kind of seem like crap if I'm being honest. There are much better lights out there!
What you need to take into account is that they are sold in PAIRS. And this demonstration is with ONE light.
So if you judge either of them by the total light each one produces in this video, then you would be missing the point. The point is how much MORE light the one produces over the other. So in the Raptor for example or the Bronco. You would have 3 pairs of Radiance or 3 Pairs of Scene.
Just like a dimmer switch on a light in your house. For one light, turn it all the way down. 2 lights, halfway up, 3 lights all the way up. Same principle here.
One PAIR vs 1 light would be twice as bright, 2 pairs, 4x as bright as this. 3 pairs, 6 x as bright as this. In fact, with 6 Regular Radiance lights, at 900 lumens. That would be almost DOUBLE the brightness you see here with the one Scene. Understand? On the other hand. 6 Scene, which are 3 pairs, would
Be 18,000 lumens (not the 3000 you see in this video) which is insanely bright. So again, this is to demonstrate the difference between one light and the other light. Not the overall results you get with 1, 2 or 3 pairs of them.
When the radiance series first came out it was cool. Nothing like them on the market from what I could remember. Out of the two, I would pick the scene.
