I find 2 fletch to be superior. Less work, just as accurate, less that could fail, no need to worry about the odd feather out when shooting, and stacks better in the quiver. Right wing interferes less with the bow when doing Khatra.
Anyway, I appreciate your videos, keep up the good work!

The arrow tuning is great stuff ! I'd like more info on your small neck knife and sheath . Would you make a video on it ?

a way to prepare fletches is to peel the feather from the quill. scrape the darker smooth front of the feather along the quill until it starts to change to a lighter color.it will require more scraping at the base of the quill because of how the quill gets thicker at the base. scrape the white backside as well but ive found you dont have to scrape it as much. then grab one side of the feather you want at the tip of the feather and gently but firmly peel it away from the quill. you wont have to worry about the pith as with splitting the feather.
what you procure from this is a fletch that can lay very nicely against the arrow….theres a trick to it but it offers some experimentation with arrow making.

What knife is the neck knife!

It’s a knife I made from a small file. I like to use a file because the high carbon content (Historically I think they may have been used because they were trade items) I can temper the back edge of the blade so it can be used as a striker to start fires eliminating the need for me to carry striker in my kit (saves room). It is tempered hard on the striking edge soft center and moderately hard cutting edge as to keep a good edge. Thanks for asking

Why you shooting on the right sight?

I shoot on both sides it just depends on what I’m doing. In this video I was building arrows to use in a horse archery competition. I can shoot fractions of a second faster on the left which allows me to get more arrow on target in a particular run. If I have more time to shoot and need more pin point accuracy like in ground archery I will shoot on the left hand side. That being said I’m only talking about .25 seconds in between shots and about one inch in grouping. Doesn’t seem like much but it makes a lot of difference in a competition.

Being a right handed shooter why r u shooting on the right side of ur bow instead of on left side?
