I'm already blown away by the fact this dude eats coffee granules, washed down with water for breakfast.
Bryce just never fails to amaze.
That shit hurt my stomach just watching
I just lost my shit when I seen that 🤣
It gets you geeked
Can confirm it’s a country man thing . Coffee grinds , grab a cold pinch of dip out of the freezer and hop in the shower . Right as rain 💪
Im doing it tomorrow morning I’ll check back with y’all tomorrow
For a kid without a father , Bryce has grown up to be a hell of a man
Strong Women can raise great men. His mother must have been one hell of a lady
That’s better than any championship you can get baby
@@predwards8941 facts
@@MM-cb7jx he had a father figure in his life tho that helped. His coach
@@MM-cb7jx no they cant
I wish the UFC would do more short promos like this for the fighters! We as fans love seeing things like this and it really gives a chance for upcoming guys like Bryce to show their lifestyle to the world and to gain even more support. Come on Dana, work that marketing budget 😂
Bryce kind of did his own shit though too which helped make the promos
I mean if the boy from Arkansas can hire someone to film him from time to time they all probably can
They would if more fighters were as interesting as Bryce. Most fighters just aren't that interesting
They do stuff like this all the time.
Bryce is just an interesting character
They do so stfu
I love how seriously he says “okra will get you through the winter!” I believe you Bryce lol
“I don’t know what’s in it but it’s crunchy!” 😂
Gotta love the dude!
@@dgillian183 lmaoo yupp
Lol my wife can never see this. She loves okra and I hate it. The last thing I need is another reason for her to say “told ya so”
@@Spoons7414 lol never show her this
So will chicken hearts
Never thought Id ever root against Edson. But after finding out who this guy is I''ll be damned. This guys a fabulous story and a top talent too
Scary match up for bryce. Edson separates the boys from men when prospects fight him
Watch his interview on the Theo Von podcast. It's fantastic.
@@c3bhm was about to say this
@@allusivestorm762 if Edson wins its gonna be because he brutally picked this guy apart. giga just stopped him so he may be declining he has been fighting for a long time and Bryce is the fresher guy. Definitely a great fight either way.
the way he called out the mask BS on the young kids in his post fight interview last time... thats how its done..
kid is legit
After watching this it blows my mind how he beat Andre Fili. Andre trains at Team Alpha Male which is in a "big city" and a world class gym. Fili is also one of my favorite fighters and this video blew my mind that a 27 year old living in Rural Arkansas that curls a log with cement proved that you dont have to be from a big gym to win
I thought the same about Jiri Prochazka. Dude lives alone in a forest! He is with Henry Cejudo now, but still... pretty amazing what he achieved while being a hermit.
The secret at the highest levels seems not to lie in the physical skill set as much as it does within the mind, and thinking.
@@thisisgettingold the highest levels have both mental and physical.
@@thisisgettingold Unless its heavyweight then you have meatheads like ngannou running things
im pretty sure andre fili and many other of his opponents left their original gyms for more famous ones.
This dude has been my favorite fighter because he’s literally like people I grew up with. Simple living but hard ass workers. KICK SOME ASS THUG!!
Exactly!!
“I won’t go to a big gym, because of the secrecy. Your plans need to be dark as night.”
That line goes hard.
Hearing about him and his coach just warms my heart tbh
the irony of bryce beating guys who left small gyms for more famous ones.
I just hope that coach truly loves him and if and when it's time for Bryce to go to a bigger gym he will support him. Because it might be needed, we don't know.
@@AbsoluteADCC its about the relationship not about going to a bigger gym… being a champ is cool but if you have to sacrifice your upbringing its not worth it
@@Opticillusion160 Don't really see a sacrifice or a big deal in this.
Sometimes people need to spend 8-10 weeks in a big gym for camp. To have more skilled training partners, learn new tricks, etc. Not saying Bryce need it either.
It just happens too often when father-figure coaches claws to that one athlete that made it big to milk him or her. So many examples where those coaches really sucked but their athlete made it big and because of those relationships coaches could keep getting paid while bringing zero value to the athlete. That's toxic.
Again, nothing indicates it here, I just hope that Bryce's coach is good people.
That's my bro right there.. and yall Willy is one of the best dudes you could ever meet. He taught me so much growing up. His son was my best friend so I lived and even trained over there all the time. Theres nobody more genuine than that guy. Basically helped raise me and I remember when he started his first gym. His oldest son, my best buddy, had won like 3 international amateur tournaments in Miami and had like 3 belts lol. I remember when Bryce first came into the gym... Its so crazy seeing how time goes by and if you believe in something and stick to it, then it is possible to achieve it. My wife and I are so proud of Bryce and Willy Mc seeing this almost makes me cry. Bryce comes in an eats where I work at the Farmhouse Cafe in Bald Knob and this whole town supports him. He's our guy and we believe in him and are proud of him no matter what!
This guy is a true country boy. If you haven't watched him on TUF, you gotta! Thug Nasty is no joke!
On TUF, I remember he got bored at the house and just made a homemade bow-and-arrow lmao, such a character
@@scottfisher295 I just imagine how it would be if we took him and season 1 Chris Leben and put them in the same house. Would've been prime entertainment 😂
I gotta remember to watch that . What season ?
@@MidwesternFilthMixes the one with DC and stipe, forgot the number. I think it's called tuf undefeated or something
Glad to see some non Californians, New Yorkers or big city people winning. You know the 99% of the country that produces the food that gets mocked about from big city liberals.
This kid is just a fantastic person! How I wish there were more guys like this in our culture.
their everywhere except big cities. he is the definition of the average american.
Raw talent, with humble mentality I hope will see more of this kid he deserves to shine.
Bryce has quickly become one of my favorite fighters. He's as genuine as can be, and he's a hell of a rapper too. If anyone reading this hasn't listened to his mixtape, do yourself a favor.
Darkansas baby
If you build it, they will come.
And I'm building it and they're gonna come!
- Bryce Mitchell
Nah on the rap but I still love him haha
Watching this guy grow his property from nothing but a trailer and a plot of land to a functioning farm is really incredible to see! Wish there were more homegrown Bryce Mitchel episodes!
The reason there aren't new ones is I'm working for the UFC now! But I actually got to go film this Connected segment with him! More Thug Nasty UFC content to come for sure.
@@KidCannonTV looking forward to it!
He has a youtube channel and shows all of that..
@@KidCannonTV Congratulations Kid!!! Great news!
He’s in such a supportive environment and he’s right there for his friends and family also. That is just heartwarming.
Love from New Zealand brother - You're a hero, a great role model for the young and a good lesson for everyone else :)
Love the authenticity on this man, he is a 100% himself.
I love how he’s just so different from every other fighter. Doing it his way. Love that
Bryce is such a breath of fresh air. Love this dude.
The relationship he has with his coach is amazing
He is special, pure raw talent, not anyone can be that good training from their farm he's a gift from god.
That’s true, that’s insane he’s as good as he is pressing logs and cinder locks. It might not win him a belt it it will win him tons of fans and at the end of the day that’s more important, ask O’Malley
Imagine if he found a real gym and got top level coaching and sparring partners.
Dude choked out a deer
What more can you say about him lol
He does way more than training on his farm. He has a professional strength and conditioning coach named Sean Ross. He doesn't like his training to be shown therefore you didn't see it.
This dude is my favorite fighter. Whole hearted dude.
Wow---what a blessing to see this young man climb through the ranks with such humility. My new #1 fighter in UFC
1- this guy is crazy;
2- this guy is REALLY crazy;
3- amazing history, nice personality, and loyalty to who he is and to where he's from.
“Every time you put the mic in my face, im gonna say Arkansas.” I like this guy. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
"I have no idea what's in okra, but its crunchy and it's delicious" love this guy
That is one of the most refreshing videos on the ufc channel. I saw this dude fight in the beginning and knew he was coming up!
Never rooted for a man to make it as much as this dude right here. God bless.
Said it for years, the toughest men come from here. Something in the water. True grit. Also the most humble and respectful I've come across. Generational farmer. Wrestling boar, cows, horse's, deer.
Also generations of inbreeding gives you hella retarded strength
I ain’t gonna lie I started laughing after the first few sentences was I start my day with eating my coffee what a legend I liked him before but know I’m rooting for him in every fight
Or how he said he something about n word gyms 😆
@@chrissmith9798 He said “bigger gyms” dumb dumb. Make sure you wear your safety helmet with the shiny little dinosaur stickers on it the next time you go on RUclips so you don’t get hurt.

After just now stumbling across this character, I can help but to think about a Cowboy Cerrone vs Thug Nasty now....anyone else? 🤔
I’ve caught this guys fights by chance and he’s become one of my favorite fighters super quickly!
This dude is where it's at. As real as they come! Mad respect for his dedication and humbleness. I'd love to fish with him. Seems super chill.
God bless Bryce, from a Missouri boy to a Arkansas boy if he has that Midwest spirit he will rise to the top! Ufc needs more Bryce

no words can say enough about this man so humble.
I’m happy they gave him his camp shorts. Bryce is definitely my favourite UFC fighter he just so down to earth and genuine.
Props to Pops for being there for this young man. the youth need guidance, direction and love- and Bryce seems to be receiving that 👏👏👏
Nice to see the UFC promote someone like Bryce instead of defaulting to whoever talks the foulest trash at the loudest volume.
More of this trend.
this comment for sure
after i saw his feathering video i became an instant fan of the guy, real humble mature lad trying to do good and live life and that appeals to a lot of people
@@calvindevries what do you mean? I’ve never heard of him feathering, or really know what that is lol
They just know he has it, even without the typical cheesy trash talk crap. He's a great fighter, and super intertaining. Really hope he keeps winning because he will be great for the sport.
Ole Boy landed that damn twister, I can tell ya he is LEGIT and got his PRIORITIES in order! Why try to be someone you’re NOT? So many fake ass people in this timeframe/2022, it’s ludicrous! This kid has it figured out and people will continue to become fans because he is REAL! Kid has an amazing work ethic and that’ll take ya farther than any gym in this world!
"your plans need to be dark as night"...... i felt that when he said that man for real!! Been one of my fav fighters since i learned about him few years back. I think he will be a champ someday. Has all the makings!!
Love it! Bryce thug nasty is one of my favorites. I’m from the backwoods of North Carolina and this is truly inspiring! Hope he reaches the highest highs that MMA has to offer him! Keep going Bryce! “If you build it, they will come”!
INCERDIBLE!! I love it, its so important to have someone who can show you theres MORE out there and above all that YOU CAN ACTUALLY GO GET IT just gotta grind, Bryce is truly something special in and out the octagon.
Love how he’s more popular and doing better than the winner of his TUF season.
What an awesome and open down to earth guy. I know he’ll go far in this sport.
live right down the road from you in Cabot...always enjoy watching you
This guy was so funny on TUF, and it's awesome to see he's evolving into such a great fighter with seemingly so little training. He will need to go to a big gym someday, but then again that's what we said about Tony Ferguson too, so who knows.
And cowboy , and Jiri as well , they keep it simple and it seems to work perfectly for them
Yet none of those people listed have held a title. Jiri will though

I think the nickname “Home Grown” is 100x more fitting than “Thug Nasty”
@@literallyshaking8019 I kinda like that. Haven’t thought of it

"Grandmothers Grave" by Bryce "Thug Nasty" Mitchell is a legendary song.
this dude brings tears to my eyes
When I was 13/14 years old me and some buddies rode our bikes from Bald Knob to Searcy. Awesome to see small town people making it.
He is the kinda grappler I root for. I like strikers because that's the background I come from in Taekwondo & Savate but I will always watch Bryce when he's fighting. He's always looking for the kill which isn't not always the case with alotta grapplers.
I love Thug Nasty’s attitude towards life
this is amazing. especially the fact that he took time off to nurse some injuries and came back to dominate an opponent like barboza.
I aint gon lie i was hurt when barboza was mauled but then again iwas very impressed by thug nasty.
Bryce is one of my favourite MMA personalities out there, he's one of the most genuine people in the sport. And his grappling skills are top-notch.
The UFC could make a show about his regular daily life and i’d watch it all 😂
In my opinion he’s the most down to earth and likeable fighter potentially in history. I’m a massive fan
I have been living in my campervan traveling the country for 2 years now. Arkansas is my favorite state. I'm there right now! Its so beautiful and the people are the nicest, most genuine people you will meet.
Just saw your clip on Tucker, this veteran is proud of you and that response to that Question.Hell yea
Love this guy, what you see is what you get. As a Wyoming boy I feel a special rural connection to Bryce

Refreshingly Genuine! Can’t wait to see you make it to the top Bryce! Keep rep’n that hometown & stay humble!
So cool! Glad you represent Arkansas! We are Proud of You!
Dudes got my vote after watching this gave me a ton of respect and hope he does big things
Big fan of this dude. He comes to scrap and has insane ground skills. Not much more to ask for.
I watched this guy on the ultimate fighter and he was probly my favorite fighter on the show. When I seen him fight it just solidified he was my fav on the show this dude is truly nasty (not to mention he choked out a deer during hunting AND hit a twister in octagon!). Super genuinely nice guy too, I remember he carved DC a necklace out of stone at the TUF house and said "this is to symbolize your bravery in battle" or something close to that. Been a fan ever since cant wait to see him fight again!
Wishing this man all the best in his career. ✨
If I hadn't already seen him fight a ton of times I would think this was a parody vid. It's crazy he is so good without a huge team behind him. Love seeing him in the cage though.
the parody would be complete if his neighbour was Kenny Florian
Seems like a great dude. Rooting for him!
First minute in and I spit my drink out everywhere! COFFEE GRIND WITH WATER!!> This guy is a champ
Edit: When he started talking about his coach I damn near teared up. So glad he came into his life.
Never underestimate a man who makes amusment parks for his own chicken! This dude is dynamite!
I'd love to see a friendship/mentorship between Cowboy and Bryce, spending some time at the ranch with cowboy seems like it would be great for Bryce.
cowboy grew up rich bro, lol.
What an inspiration, to people and values which don’t get the representation they should, and people everywhere!
this right here reminds me how pure life can be, and how materialistic things can get.
god bless you Bryce
Home grown. This guy is my favorite fighter by far. What a story he has. This is what America needs!
Became a fan of his from watching his interview with theo von. Dude is wild, hilarious, and a baad man.
His drill in the nuts story was so brutal
Serious damage to the jewels and he still manages to kick ass. Must be the okra.
