the air ambulance usually has doctors on board or paramedics with advanced life saving skills- something an ambulance doesn’t have. they also have the ability to get to an incident quickly and get a patient to the hospital quickly when there’s lots of traffic for example. its called out for things like car crashes, major trauma, cardiac arrest etc
