I love the use of a todler hair tie as a Barbie belt...genius. As far as dolls in the 10-14 years old boxes; I always send a Barbie or Barbie type doll. I ued to work with another group that cared for orphans in Malawi. At Christmas the children received gifts similar to what we send in shoeboxes. One year the little girls received baby dolls. Upon seeing the dolls the older girls also requested them as they had never had a doll.
