It’s a common tactic used by predators. They talk the same way today in these videos that they did to me 10 years ago. Be nice and gain trust. I don’t want to share too much about their tactics, because that could be spreading information on how to be a creep into the wrong hands. Just know that they know what they’re doing, and they know to play dumb and nice when they’re caught.

jidion is damn good at this. i can't tell if he is just extremely manipulative and using those skills for good, or if he's just genuinely deeply empathetic and calm and navigates these interactions with that, but goddamn. he is good, whatever it is.

Oh he is just manipulative, and thats a good thing. He uses the same exact 'good cop' tactics when interrogating criminals to get them to confess. He can't offer them money and food, he HATES predators just as much as us and will slip in comments to antagonize them without throwing them off the hook. It's with experience that he gets better, he pretends to be their friend and makes himself a safe space for them to try and lean on. The moment the chase happens, the predator is cornered and needs to lean on something to feel like he has a way out of the corner, invoking trust into JiDion. Things like 'We aren't here to catch you' and 'we just want to talk and get you on a better path' so he can confess his wrong doings on camera. The predator is ofcourse being caught, that is his intention, he isn't letting them slip away no matter how much the plead and play victim. Even when the cops get there, he knows he needs to make face for the cop and catch atleast one confession on bodycam for them, so he doesn't break the trust and instead tricks them into thinking if they just say sorry it'll be okay, when really it just skips whole debates in court on whether or not the predator is guilty. By manipulating and videoing all of this, JiDion is saving days to weeks of court debates by securing a solid confession and piles of on camera evidence. Ensuring the predators are either serving time or have been booked, saving dozens to hundreds of potential future victims. There is not enough glaze for JiDion and his work, and the crew that he works with. They risk their lives to pursue dangerous minded individuals who have ruined their lives and could very well be armed when they attempt to meet their victims, on top of the financial sacrifices made for travel, time, and equipment to get there. All to catch predators lawfully and secure vital evidence and confessions that are needed to put them away. I know this is massive glaze, but I think JiDion deserves it.
