The quarry I work for has both brands and I have operated both. And let me tell you caterpillar is waaay better when it comes to performance komatsu in my experience and opinion is junk. And this is based on performance not necessarily preference.

But for me i love vintage wheel loader that rear wheels who turn left and right...About HITACHI she japan but very well 🤣🤣🤣

Komatsu sucks to repair and work on . I’m a heavy equipment tech and when it comes to repair I can get a Cat repaired faster . To change a hydraulic pump on a Cat it takes a day but on a Komatsu the same job is a week and a half sometimes up to a month when you factor in waiting on parts and if their is a leak the entire cab may have to come back off to take care of it. Cat also has a much better technical support system . I would never buy a Komatsu they are turds compared to Cat .
