Wireshark | 05 | Analysis of the HTTP protocol

In this video we generate http traffic from a browser and observe the 3-way handshake happening between the source TCP and host TCP before the http request is sent out. Further we also observe the 3-way TCP handshake happening at the closure of the TCP connection at the end.

I don’t know why does Wireshark did not capture the protocol:http on Mac even I connect the http web ，are something settings error on my Mac?

Wireshark will capture only when the page passes through the TCP/IP stack.
Some times the browser refreshes the web page from its cache. To forcefully load the page from the site, hold down the ctrl key and click the reload button of the browser.
